So, for years we have been using Adobe Reader to read out lout the scripts we receive. Today I tried to use it and a few things jumped out at me.
1. The feature is no longer triggered through the right click menu, but paired together with "NEW AI FEATURES". When I click the AI audio reader I see a tiny 10 min marker. Then the Podcast explanation AI button say 2h 6m and so on. I clicked the feature we normally use for reading our scripts passively. 10 minutes into the read and the paragraphs are split down the middle making the audio incomprehensible. Adobe, WTF? This was a legacy feature that many visually impaired people use and you have had this (flawlessly) for years. I know you are pushing the AI podcasts because it is "trendy, disruptive or whatever the new buzzword is". Please stop. Don't fix the things that are working just fine. It is clear to me and all your legacy subscribers (oh yeah, we can no longer own anything we pay for) that you and google and MS and everyone pushing this AI narrative is not making any money off "the thing that will change the world" lol. It is sad to see that you are deliberately breaking things and telling us that AI can fix it. Please stop and focus on humans creating solutions for human problems. You can only squeeze so much blood out a rock. At some point, you need to see what else the rock can offer. This is where human innovation comes into play. ****, we all pay you enough. Hire humans to problem solve and stop being sleezy. Thank you and have a great day :)
