Acrobat Pro 2026 does not display third-party installed fonts in Edit PDF font list
Installed fonts should appear in the Acrobat font list and be available for use when adding text.
Microsoft fonts such as Arial, Calibri, and Times New Roman appear, but installed third-party fonts such as Star Strella and Dancing Script do not appear anywhere in the font list.
Troubleshooting performed:
Repaired Acrobat installation.
Restarted Windows.
Reinstalled fonts.
Installed fonts for all users.
Verified fonts are present in Windows Fonts and available in Microsoft Word.
Tested multiple third-party fonts.
Tested in a newly created blank PDF.
This appears to be an Acrobat font detection/enumeration issue because the fonts are properly installed and accessible to other applications but are not recognized by Acrobat.
