Bug: Exporting from Acrobat Pro (.pdf) to PowerPoint (.pptx) shows an image that cannot be selected, edited, or deleted (master slide)
Adobe Acrobat Pro, version 26.002.21931.0, trying to export from .pdf to PowerPoint .pptx, it sends one of my design's images to the Master Slide background that cannot be edited or deleted unless you know how to take it off the background of the master slide and transfer it to a regular slide. (Running on Windows 11, x64 bit system, Microsoft Office 365). Here are the two files of interest: .pdf, and its conversion to .pptx. The overlapping circles in the image at the left don’t come through to the .pptx file as selectable, editable, or deletable, but the same overlapping circles at the right, do come through. (Conjoined—but that’s a separate bug!)
The workaround is three steps in PowerPoint:
1). View...Slide Master
2). Then select the master slide in the top left location, right click on it and choose Format Background from its popup menu.
3). Then you can delete or copy it to another location where it is editable when you close the slide master view and return to normal viewing.
Note: From a normal view one can also click on the slide in the upper left, then look to the editing box over at the far right screen margin. When it says “Format Background” as a title there is then an option on its menu to check a box to Hide Background Graphics. But that still deprives the slide I'm working on from displaying the image that is now hidden when I need it to be selectable, editable, visible.
