  1. Add a Force Quit button to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

    It would be great if Adobe Acrobat Pro DC has a Force Quit button that could be accessed when it frequently crashes on a Mac. This would save me lots of time either:

    • going into the apple menu and selecting Force Quit and then selecting Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and all of the options and then restarting Acrobat; OR

    • creating a script to kill Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and then restart it.

    The other option is to stop Adobe Acrobat Pro DC from crashing on a Mac.

  4. Bug: language identifiers lost

    When importing pages from other PDF's, any language identifiers associated with the individual accessibility tags are not imported. This has been a long-standing issues across all Acrobat versions

  5. Restore user defined 'Save to' folder option

    Restore the function that used to be present in older Acrobat versions that allowed users to set the preferred 'Save to' folder location. When set, all PDFs generated would automatically default to this save location that is 'User Defined' This function/feature used to be present in versions of Acrobat prior to 10 and is a huge time saver and in many cases a necessity for frequent users. This has been a major complaint by many users over the past 4 years and this simple yet essential feature has yet to be restored to the current editions of Acrobat! For the…

  6. Formatting Templates

    The ability to take cut and paste from different documents with different formats and quickly have a template, or choice of templates, click on it and have it format the document automatically.

  7. Create Comment Summary settings : save, enhance and allow presets

    1. It would be nice to allow at least saving default settings (paper size, font size, etc.)
    2. Best would be to create a set of predefined settings as in Create PDF with a menu to select one of those
    3. Please add a selection of mentions to include in the summary (or exclude). We don't need "Author: Text Replaced - Subject: Text - Date: Indeterminate" cluttering each comment. Thanks in advance.

  8. Acrobat 2018.011.20038 Cannot Print Single Sided Pages

    The Driver for Acrobat 2018.011.20038 cannot print single pages. While it might be nice to FORCE users to print on 2 sides, this isn't always desirable. As in the case to print estimated tax slips. I've had to resort to exporting to individual PDFs and printing with Photoshop one page at a time.

  9. on MACs -2 sided printing option does no appear on the print screen for any printer I've tried

  10. Although I changed the print option to simplex print (one-sided), Acrobat keeps reverting to complex (two-sided) print! Very frustrating!

  11. Unexpected text ligatures when creating PDF from HTML

    Steps to reproduce:

    Go to https://secure.cst.org/portal/en/url/login
    Create a PDF from this webpage

    Expect that when the letters 'st' occur together that they are separate letters, but instead a 'st' ligature is created in the PDF.

    Problem occurs in Windows 10 using Firefox, Chrome, and IE.

  12. export shifting page size

    when exporting to pdf from InDesign, the page size is changing because the page information cannot fit on page because of crop marks and spread function

  14. program defaults to Adobe PDF when trying to print to my printer

    I can't print my PDF files when they open in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. I try to change the printer and it defaults back to Adobe PDF. I've uninstalled and re-installed the program and still had no luck. Very annoying.

  15. Converted Word document to Acrobat. The end notes are not linked correctly

    Exported a document from Word 2013 using the Acrobat PDFMaker Office addin. The Word document has 541 end note references. When I select a reference within the PDF document it does not bring me to the correct end note.

  16. Bookmark panel does not display accented characters correctly

    Bookmark panel does not display accented or special characters. Text is fine but once bookmark is created, characters are not displayed correctly in bookmark panel.

    e.g. s´odico, c´apsula instead of sódico, cápsula.

    Panel does not display: á, é, í, ó, ú ü, Á, É, Í, Ó, Ú, ñ, Ñ.

    Hi,

    Thanks for Reaching out to us for your concerns.
    The default Save icon is not added from the Quick Tools list though it is visible from the “Show File Tools” and the SaveAs tool is added from the customized tools and thus they appear in separate sections.

  18. Scrollling

    Please fix the scrolling speed. This is the only software that has such a high-speed scroll. It's always been this way for like 7 years. It's impossible to scroll through a document at a slow speed.
