Bug: Window height changes after Acrobat DC closed with the menu bar hidden.
Steps to reproduce:
Open any PDF document in the Acrobat Reader DC on Windows (my version 2021.001.20138)
Change the following (I do it for every single document, that should be the default):
View -> Page Display -> Single Page View
View -> Zoom -> Zoom to Page Level
View -> Read Mode
View -> Show/Hide -> Menu BarResize the window so that the page takes up precisely 100% of the window area, there are no blank margins around the page.
Close the window
Open the same document again
Expected behaviour:
Window size should be remembered. When you apply all…1 vote -
Microsoft Purview Information Protection - clear remembered account information
After the update from version 22.002.20191 to version 22.003.20258, we've detected an issue with the new Microsoft Purview Information Protection plug-in.
It can happen, that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC crashes, if a MIP protected PDF file shall be opened. In this case the opening process hangs and Reader DC doesn't react any longer and you have to terminate the app.
This happens, because the cached account information for MIP are obviously unusable (e.g. corrupt or invalid). The only solution currently is, to clear the cache via the "Clear remembered account information" button.
But many standard users aren't aware of this…

What is DaaS and How does it works ?
Desktop as a Service (DaaS) is a virtual desktop architecture that runs in the cloud and gives customers controlled desktops. In its most basic form, a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure's back-end infrastructure is hosted by a third party company (VDI). On servers housed in the data centre of the cloud service provider, virtual desktops are built and run. Since the complete infrastructure is housed in the cloud, the service provider really takes care of all required support, including but not limited to storage and network-related issues.
Through their cloud-based network, the Desktop as a Service or DaaS provider in this case…

BIGGEST CYBERSECURITY MISTAKES AND HOW TO AVOID THEM
Telecommuting is much of the time something worth being thankful for and one thing you can do inside the long haul, not simply in that frame of mind of the Covid calamity. Yet, you've in any case gotten to hold up great network protection propensities and keep up with your pc and information secure from untouchables. Adhere to the guidelines of your IT bunch and pose inquiries on the off chance that you feel a little skeptical. That implies utilizing all security processes like secure logins, substantial tokens, and getting your PC assuming you leave it unattended. Get to be…

Bug Report - Reader isn't rendering text correctly in Chrome, Edge, or Outlook
Blocks of text aren't rendering correctly in Chrome or Edge (it works in Mozilla). These are files that have been saved as PDF from Illustrator or Indesign. The text renders correctly in the PDF desktop application, but isn't working properly in browser readers.

Make it compatible with Dragon NaturallySpeaking
Adobe reader has been around for a long time, and lots of people have commented on public fora that its compatibility with Dragon NaturallySpeaking is extremely poor. This software is used by vast numbers of people with disabilities worldwide to improve their access to digital technology, and you really should make an effort to make your software compatible with it.

Redraw bug when scrolling in Fill & Sign Mode
(SYSTEM AND SPECS: Macbook Air M1 (2020), Apple M1, macOS Monterey 12.5, Acrobat Reader DC 2021.001.20169)
When scrolling whilst in Fill & Sign mode the document screen seems to "glitch" or "tear" periodically when scrolling vertically through a document that is being filled.
Attached is a screenshot and a video showing this behaviour.

double find function
I have an idea for the find (ctrl + F) function. I propose there be a double find option to search for multiple phrases from different paragraphs. This feature would be useful for scientists and scholars who need to search a pdf for one phrase as it relates to another. For example, if I need to search for "enzyme replacement therapy" but I want to find where it relates to "Endocytosis" as opposed to "Passive diffusion" I can find it easily. I am sure there are countless other use-cases.

Ensure interactive features of a PDF document works when being viewed through a browser
This issue happens with keyboard-only and screen reader users.
When exporting, saving or publishing a document as a PDF, the interactive features within that document (such as hyperlinks) don't work when the PDF is viewed in a browser (any browser). The only way an interactive PDF works as intended is when it is opened with Acrobat Reader.
There must be an issue between the interactivity within a PDF and how browsers render that PDF document for accessibility. Can this be fixed so it doesn't matter whether a user has Acrobat or uses a browser to view a PDF and interact…

Make the prompt to save the PDF optional
Have an option or a call switch that can be made so that when a file loads it can simply close the file and not save it if the ADOBE is closed?
We print labels and the user does not want to save the labels - merely print them so they would like to be able to see the labels and print then and then close the Adobe and not have to cancel the save.

Bug Report - Adobe Reader For Windows & Mac
I have noticed recently that the copy text function when copying some text from a PDF document doesn't work or fail to work properly after you send the computer or laptop to sleep and you wake up the computer / laptop from sleep, and the only way to get it working again is by closing down Acrobat Reader and then restarting up Acrobat Reader again.

Advantages of Cloud PC
Many high-profile companies offer DaaS Solutions including Citrix, Microsoft Azure Desktop, Amazon Web Services (WorkSpaces), MTM Technologies (AnywhereApp) and VMware (Horizon Cloud). In this post, we run through some of the major benefits of Desktop as a Service or DaaS and why it is becoming so popular among today’s enterprises.
What Is DaaS?
Desktop as a Service (DaaS) is an exciting cloud-based technology that lets businesses deliver virtual desktops to any device from anywhere. Client devices act as a conduit for remote desktop processing without the need for onboard hardware, delivering organisations a host of benefits that simply aren’t…1 vote -
Benefits of Virtual Desktop
In a recent blog, we outlined the rollout of Windows Azure Virtual Desktop this summer, which is really a repackaging of the original Windows Virtual Desktop. The name change and single-user pricing structures have been the topic of much discussion over the last several weeks, but not many are talking about the benefits of implementing this comprehensive virtualization service at your organization. Consulting with a professional managed services firm can help you to implement Windows 10 Cloud PC and other IT solutions that can help your business become more streamlined and efficient.
With Azure, platform-specific features allow companies to deploy…

Get rid of 7-days trial pop up when using context menu
As explained in this post (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/get-rid-of-7-day-trial-after-rotate-from-context-menu-within-plug-in/m-p/12897117#M90403), we'd like to get rid of the pop up when a user clicks on the rotate buttons in the context menu.
In the base Adobe Reader it is possible to use other menu's, but when another piece of software uses the plug in, these menu's aren't available and users are left with either the rotate buttons which generate the pop up, or the only option Rotate to the right.
Please let the rotate buttons in the context menu act without the advert for the 7-day trial.
