make home screen go away after closing PDF file in Acrobat DC
make home screen go away after closing PDF file in Acrobat DC. Add option for preferences to disable the 'application frame'. This is super annoying as every time you close a pdf you have to press command W on the keyboard twice to close the windows.
Hi,
Since we haven’t got further updates from you on this. We are closing this issue for now.
Please reach out to us again if you have further concerns
Thanks
Ayush

how do you disable the home/tools frame? it's super annoying to have a home screen stay open after I close files.

Try unchecking the "Open documents as new tabs in the same window (requires relaunch)" box in Preferences -> General. This changed the undesired behavior for me in Windows version Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017. I also use the Mac version where there is a box that's more explicit about relating to the Home screen and had similar behavior.

Because you haven't fixed it. Please remove asap. It's frustrating and makes my life harder

Try this.
In preferences un-tick "Open documents as new tabs in the same window (requires relaunch)". -

Has this been fixed for Windows 10 pro yet?

I see you keep closing this issue when there are no further comments. Why do people have to keep commenting when you don't do anything about the issue? What's to comment about?
This particular issue is INCREDIBLY ANNOYING! Please give us an option to turn off that useless home screen in Acrobat Pro DC.

This is the second request for this and I'm the third.

This is far from resolved. There is no option to make the home screen close AUTOMATICALLY when all pdfs/the last pdf are/is closed.

Hi,
Thanks for Reaching out to us for your queries.
We already have this implemented for Mac.
I would suggest you to kindly update your Acrobat to the latest version. Please check this https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1812291 and look at the correct solution over here.
If that [reference is turned off for you, you'll no longer have the home view visible when you close all the pdfs.
If that doesnt solve your issue, do let me know the version of Acrobat DC that you are using ?
