Icon and Recent File List
The new white icon is very uncomfortable. I'd prefer the old icon file please. But even more important is the Recently Opened Files list ... now that thumbnails are included, the names of the files are TINY. I need to know how to make those file names larger, as I use this list multiple times daily! Please make the list as it used to be.

Agree, please provide the feature to allowed us to use the old icon. New version is painful to look at.

Using macOS, with everything patched to latest, and with file extensions visible.
After being away for Thanksgiving weekend, I am surprised to see that icons have changed for all Adobe products, and my initial impression is poor.
Acrobat = smaller graphic, with “PDF” below graphic, making the graphic difficult to discern
InDesign = smaller graphic, with “INDD” below graphic, making the graphic difficult to discern
Illustrator = blurry thumbnail of the file contents
PhotoShop = for files set to open with PhotoShop by default (e.g., PSD, JPG, PNG, etc.), icons are blurry thumbnail of the file contentsThe reason why these icons are bad is that the previous icons were a visual indication of what applicaiton is currently set to open the given file.
This is an important reminder before committing to opening an application, due to the resources hit when that application opens.
The icon also visually confirms what default application has been set for that file type, which is protection when this default has been changed by another application.
When dealing with hundreds/thousands of files, it is important to have uniform, easily distinguishable icons, otherwise the risk is that unexpected files will be overlooked during Q/A.
Though the Adobe feedback appears to be, “Too bad, you can’t change this now,” I can most certainly state that there is a net negative benefit related to this icon change. I am also aghast that Adobe seems to be programmatically preventing me from customizing the icons to something more usable (i.e., using an older, more familiar icon).
If a user wants the file icon to be a thumbnail of the file contents, then that should be an option in the operating system preferences, and this would be something for you to make an arrangement with Apple/Microsoft. Otherwise, you are just being lazy.
And if you say that you couldn’t implement that, then you should have cancelled the entire project regarding the change of file icons.

Hi,
Thanks for your feedback here.
PDF names font size and PDF icon changes are in-line with new interface of Adobe Acrobat DC and as of now there is no way you can change this. I will give your inputs to the design team.
Do let me know if you have more concerns here.
Thanks,
