Provide a way to remove/move Request for signatures button in Office Home ribbon
In a recent update, Adobe Acrobat added 2 buttons in Microsoft Office applications to "Request for Signatures" and "Create and Share Adobe PDF".
This integration doesn't appear in the Ribbon or in the Add-ins list, so currently there is NO way to remove/move those buttons. It is a significant problem when you work with documents side by side or in lower resolution displays because they take too much space in the ribbon and force other more important buttons/groups to collapse/hide.

See Hudson's comment for Mac - this works:
On a Word for Mac, go to Tools > Templates and Add-Ins... then unclick the linkcreation.dotm
It gets rid of both the PDF and Signature buttons -

The addition of the create and share adobe PDF and Request Signature force me to greatly expand the document to see other menu options which are far more important to me.

Hi KM - that sounds brilliant but I don't happen to have an old copy of the PDFMOfficeAddin.dll file. Anyone know where I can get one?

If you're looking to remove the "Request Signatures" button, I found one possible solution for Microsoft Windows:
Get a copy of the old version of the PDFMOfficeAddin.dll file from an older (version 19.x) version of Adobe Acrobat DC and overwrite the current .dll that changed the look of the icons in the ribbon to something generic and unnecessarily added the "Request Signatures" button.
This .dll is located under C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat DC\PDFMaker\Office\PDFMOfficeAddin.dll (for 32-bit installs of Word) and ...\x64 (for 64-bit installs of Word) respectively.
In my testing, I have not found any issues, and the original Adobe logo icon goes back to the way it was, while the "Request Signatures" button is nowhere to be found. It's almost certain this .dll will get overwritten during every Adobe Acrobat DC update, so this isn't really a long-term fix, but at the very least a method to put things back to the way they were.

To complete Hudson's advice: on Word for Mac, go to Tools > Templates and Add-Ins, uncheck "linkCreation.dotm" which is the Adobe add-in that produces the buttons. Poof. Buttons gone.

On a Word for Mac, disable inking: Tools > Templates and Add-Ins...

Please allow choice for removal! I never use these 2 buttons so it is super useless and taking space on my home bar.

Make sure you vote for this change if you want it fixed - I don't think comments are as helpful in getting attention as votes are.

completely agree. "request signature" is a completely useless button for me and I cannot access other important buttons because of it.
