stop "Recent" screen on opening DC and constantly opening
Please Please stop the "Recent" screen opening, just put it back to where it was.
The checkbox that was in Preferences - Catalogue, no longer exists, for windows, (yet it does for Mac)
Thi sseems also tied into the chssck box to "stop" files opening as you are converting various files into one PDF, as as DC opens the individual files its stops the conversion process with the error "cannot continue as the xxxx file is open" i get round by being ready to close the file as it opens, but this is represents several steps backwards.

Every time I log onto WIFI, this Recent Files Page pops up. I need strong security and no connection to the cloud- any cloud. This breach concerns me greatly. I always turn off WIFI when done with the net and take other security precautions, but i can't find a way to disconnect this intrusion.

Setting "Recent Documents" to zero helps - but then they don't show up in the file menu, either

Agreed. I lose track of how many times in one day I have to close this window, and it is beyond annoying. I never open a document through this window, yet I am still tasked with continually closing it!

Making previews burns up a ton of time. The ball spins even when display is set to zero. I don't need all the cloud stuff... I want to be able to make the app local only. The cloud integration makes all the apps unbearably slow. Please make it voluntary !!
