A comment report to rule them all
I work in several files which all get marked up in a standard format (red boxes with an red x stamp to note issues that need further review or actions to resolve). All the mark ups from all the documents need to be closed before my process is complete. It would be ideal if i could run a query across multiple documents (like a whole batch of folders) on all the comments made with the same criteria options currently available in a single .pdf comment filter and it be packaged in a comment summary file that has links to jump you to the document page upon which the comment mark was made.
Example:
I have a file with 2 folders. All the pdf documents in those 2 folders (lets say there are 10 in one and 15 in the other for a total of 25 .pdf documents) I have reviewed all of them and marked up all the issues using a Red Rectangle and made notes using the double-click feature of each box. I can now run a Comment Summary Filter and subsequent Comment Summary Report.
Next level option would be to run this same comment filter across all 25 documents and it spit out a Comment Summary Report that captures all the Red Rectangle comments i made in ALL of them, with a link that would jump from me from the Report to the page upon which the comment was made in a particular document (ie page 8 of doc 2 in file 1 where i drew a Red Rectangle to mark an issue).
Next Next Level would be a way to export this list to Microsoft Excel or Planner or Access for communication, tracking, resolution, and/or reporting reasons.
