save PDF to same folder as original file
When I right click on a word or excel file and "convert to pdf" it would be better if the new pdf could save to the same folder as the original file by default. There should be an option to allow this, which I found to be a huge time saver when using Kofax Power PDF. The current adobe saving options only allow for using one pre-defined folder, or the last folder that something was saved to. This results in files being saved to the wrong location, or time wasted navigating to different folders every time.

this is my same issue and it saves time instead of adding few steps to the export process, it used to be that way and the new acrobat changed the setting and I can't find the "save to the same folder option"

People have been asking for this for years. It's not critical, but it's a constant irritation.

Converting dozens of files a day, stored in deeply nested folders, it takes 7-10 clicks to drill down to the same folder I am converting the document from. Having a default option to save to the same folder rather than "Documents" or "previously saved to folder" will help prevent RSI in addition to saving time.

I would kill for an answer to this... staggering that Adobe does saves this way.
