Preview Fonts in Drop-down List
I've just started using Adobe Acrobat DC, continuous release. I noticed when editing a document, if I select the drop down list of fonts, all of them show the exact same font type in the list. This is really unhelpful, because I don't know what any will look like.
This leaves me with two options. One, choose a font, see what it looks like, and keep it; or if I don't like it go back, click the drop down list, and re-scroll all the way through to find the next font in line and try that one. If I don't like it, repeat, repeat, repeat.
Or I can look up online and type each font I'm interested in one by one, until I see one I like. Both INCREDIBLY time-consuming and tedious.
How about like MS Word, show what the fonts look like by showing each name in the format of that very font. I think it's a great feature. In fact, it's such a kind of obvious feature, I'm wondering if there's an option in there to turn that on or off. I can't find it in a Google search, anywhere right now.

Fully agree, this causes a tremendous amount of extra tedium, completely unnecessary. Surely there must be an update, a fix, or at very least some kind of workaround...?

Just posted about the same issue and voted for your post.
Customer service confirmed it is so and there is no way to change it.
Do you use Mac Os? I was pretty sure that Windows Acrobat does have those previews.
