Add background color to text boxes
Add a color background to new text boxes ie. a white background so that text placed over other text or images effectively erases what the text box is placed over allowing new text to be seen clearly.

Annotating a map, for instance: Absolutely vital to be able to see a label placed on it. That this is not already a part of the system is appalling.
