Cursor Bug
I'm using a 2019 Mac Pro with all the latest Adobe software. When Acrobat is open and in front of the Finder windows and other apps everything is fine but when I click into another app or Finder window, while Acrobat is open in the background, the Acrobat cursor remains visible. Hiding or quitting Acrobat is the only way to restore the correct cursor. When this occurs while working with another Adobe app (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) the cursor flickers between the Acrobat cursor and the other program's cursor. There is a flickering cursor bug which has affected Adobe software for many years which has never been fixed. This may be related to that bug.

This problem also exists on a 2024 MacBook Pro, as it did on a 2023 MacBook Pro, a 2021 MacBook Pro, and a 2019 MacBook Pro. It has persisted through countless updates of Acrobat. It's not just a glitch - the changing of the cursor often interferes with basic functionality of other apps, like using the scroll bars, selecting text, and various features of development IDEs. It often but not always persists even when Acrobat is minimized, so that I can only get normal cursor functionality by quitting the program. Screenshots don't capture the cursor shape, so I've attached some phone images of my screen to show the cursor when Acrobat is in the background (using Acrobat cursors) vs. when it is minimized. This bug has existed for years, and I've just downloaded Foxit Reader to try to avoid it as much as possible. Please fix this frustrating problem!
