Bug: Comment list headings show wrong date (off by one day)
When the comment pane is sorted by date, the date group heading shows one day earlier than the actual date of the comments.
A comment dated "Jun 26" will show under a group heading of "6/25/2020"
A comment dated today (showing a time only, no date) will be grouped under a date heading "9/25/2021" (when the date is actually 9/26/2021).
Steps:
Create a comment (sticky note or add note to replace text)
Sort comments by date
Expected: today's comment 5:16 pm grouped under "9/26/2021"
Actual: today's comment 5:16 pm grouped under "9/25/2021"

I am running Adobe Acrobat Standard (via Creative Cloud), Continuous Release | Version 2024.001.20629 | 64-bit, and I have a similar bug. The comments pane groups the comments by a date (e.g., "4/2/2024", the "grouping label"), but the comments grouped under that comment are from the following day (e.g., "Apr 3", each "instance"). See attached screenshot (redacted user name with "UserID"). I would expect the grouping label to be 4/3/2024, the same day of all the instances _created_ and grouped thereunder. Wondering why it subtracts a day in the grouping label.

I just updated to Acrobat DC version 21.7.20099.454979, and the problem persists.

I downloaded old versions of Adobe Reader Classic Track to see when this bug was introduced, and I was able to reproduce it starting with the "new and improved commenting experience" in the July 2016 update of Adobe Reader 2015 (15.006.30198 Planned update, July 12, 2016). The same feature was introduced in the May 2016 release of DC continuous track.
This is when the little headers for each date in the comment pane started appearing, and it always shows 1 day earlier than the date in the comments (although it's possibly dependent on the time of day for the comments).
The only way I could get it to consistently show the correct dates is by setting my computer time zone to UTC Universal Coordinated Time instead of my actual time zone.
