Acrobat External Editor Won't Open

I cannot get the external editor to open from Acrobat. I've never had this issue in over 11 years of creating PDF forms.

I have the same problem. I'm forced to use "C:\Windows\System32\notepad.exe" when previously I used ->
C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe -n%n -multiInst -nosession "%f"
