BUG: In the convenient user-friendly previous version of Acrobat, a user could turn on the highlighter and then double click on a word or triple click on a paragraph to select, then move to the next segment to highlight.
In the current please, for God's sake roll it back, version of Acrobat, when trying to highlight by a double, a popup with a bubble, color chooser, and trash icon pops up before it's possible to double click on the word. It's impossible to dump the popup of useless tools to mark the word. ESC does not work, clicking around it doesn't, but it is possible to hold the left mouse button and swipe the word to highlight.
If you miss the end of the word by a pixel or two, you end up highlight the entire document or a line or two or a sentence or all kinds of words not needing the highlight.
As with most features in the current version of Acrobat, it creates more work for the user.
Did any bother including a UX specialist in the update or was this done by VI?
