I would like a mechanism that will notify admins of updates/patches for offline products.
User case: An admin I know had a nightmare of multiple versions of Reader and Acrobat spread all over their networks. There was nothing that allowed the user to know what version was on what station. This is over a 200+ computer and laptop network.
The Request: We would like a way to have an automated process within the product to prompt for updates for an Offline version of Adobe Acrobat. maybe even a reminder per Quarter Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 to check your version of Acrobat to see if it is on the latest patch.
The other idea is for the Adobe Admin Console to prompt the user when a new update patch is released, and where to download it at release. Please remember we are on an isolated network that is offline (Does not connect to internet). This would save our enterprise a lot of time and heartache tracking down outdated versions of Acrobat.
