Automatic printer selection based on document content
I run an ecommerce business and when fulfilling orders, label and packing slip pdfs are generated for orders. When i print labels, I have to manually select my label printer, then switch back manually to print packing slips on the laser printer. It would be an amazing feature if Acrobat Pro could analyze a document and if it had a bar code, for example, it would know it was a label and pre-select the label printer. Then switch back to default. It's shocking to me that no one seems to have thought of this feature. I wish I had back the hours I've spent over the years manually switching back and forth between printers and then the wasted paper or stickers when you forget and off they go. Thoughts? Help? AI can do it! Come on Adobe.
