39 MUST NEEDED FIXES & TWEAKS IN ALL AREAS TO SPEED UP PDF CREATION.
Too much time is wasted by doing the simple little things all around Acrobat Reader and I want to address as many of the concerns as I can in one post. Turns out I can fit everything
1) Ability to lock anything on the page so it never gets moved unintentionally. To unlock it you could click a padlock in the corner, if it's right on top of another if you highlight the padlock for 3 seconds a small popup could show vertically what you have with a solid background with the padlock so you can see clearly what you want to unlock.
The default could be you have to click on it then you can click and drag it to move it.
A) No longer accidently click then unintentionally and sometimes unknowingly move an image to later discover that it doesn't look right to waste time trying to fix that was fine to begin with
B) Too many times for a major inconvenience to hit undo because you can select the image layer behind and moving it unintentionally. If you miss you and do another action you have to manually move it back.
2) When copy and pasting anything from images, Text and especially New Text Fields they should paste right on top of their duplicate by default location.
especially when zoomed right in or when making a new box, I tried to make a box like grid and it was very time consuming as I wanted it in a specific format.
A) It's easier to locate what you have just pasted.
B) Way too time consuming moving it back to the default location so then you can continue on and just keyboard arrow key them over and into place where you want
It wastes so much time especially when you have to do multiple of them.
3) Hitting CTRL + an arrow key should be closer to pixel movements instead of a jump, moving it quickly is what Shift + arrow keys is for.
If I want a box to be in an exact location it won't be right on where I need it. I have to zoom right in and carefully not move it up or down but across. If it's too close it won't move. So I have to move it away so I can move it back.
A) It's very time consuming spending way too long to get things in line by dragging since keyboard arrow keys come close or too far over if you wanted it to look neater
right now you have to zoom right in and drag it pixel perfect, I hate it.
B) Get things in line much faster and complete PDFs faster & neater
C) More functionality
D) Saves time with Text Fields to get moved pixel perfect straight onto an underlines
4) When selecting a Text Field or multiple Text Fields then Copy and Pasting so now there is a #0 on the end then clicking off the selection will make them stay in their spot in the field order which is normal.
But..

using a keyboard arrow key arrow or clicking and dragging them into place
will make them appear at the bottom of the page in the field order.
4.2) When selecting a Text Field or multiple Text Fields then Copy and Pasting so now there is a #0 on the end...
then adding a non duplicate Text Field to the selection then using a keyboard arrow key arrow or clicking and dragging them into place
will only make the Copy and Pasted appear at the bottom of the page in the field order.
In the above 2 scenarios could they please all stay where they are in the Field Order?
A) Since I am using Manual order, nothing should move in the order automatically
B) Time consuming moving them back into place where the original was. If there's a lot you may get lost where that is in the field order.
C) Keeps things together and organised
5) In the Text Field order, you should be able to change the order by holding CTRL and either click and dragging or clicking in the field order and holding CTRL then using up or down arrow.
6) If multiple Text Fields are exactly the same size and on top of each other you can't select which one you want and move it.
You should be able to select the one from the Field order and use the arrow keys to be able to move it straight away, instead of wasting time with the simple task and having to change the others back to their position so you could get the right one.
7) Instead of just clicking and dragging to make a selection then holding CTRL to unselect or individually select by holding CTRL then select one by one
Please add the ability to hold SHIFT then drag any Text, Text Field Field or Image to make a selection. Holding SHIFT then clicking shouldn't deselect your selection, letting go of SHIFT then clicking should.
Anything that touches the selection while using SHIFT should just get added to the selection
A) So much more helpful and easier making selections because you can control what you want selected better
B) Right now it's very time consuming and double handling by trying to select right around specifics then having to deselect what you don't want one by one instead of just be able to select what you want
B) More functionality for the basic task of making selections
C) maybe move everything in a selected area at once
8) We have Edit PDF which can edit Images and Text Boxes.
We have Prepare which can edit Text Fields but images should have its own tool with separate features like:
a quick black and white filter, Eye dropper to select a colour, Paint bucket to fill in large areas quickly, changing the size (Wish it didn't lose quality)
A) keeping the different type of edits separate
B) Can add more tweaks in a later version if its in it's own section.
9) Ability to drag an image into Acrobat on a specific PDF and it will load there on that page instead of a new PDF and ready for you to resize.
A) It's just a faster method of getting an image where you want it instead of having to do another task.
B) If you wanted in a new PDF you could just drop it on an empty space on the right of the current tab the PDF is in.
New Idea) Eyedropper tool for changing the text colour which should recognise any colour on a page.
10) Option to delete the whole Text Field area of an image behind the Text field.
7) Much better way of handling large gaps between words in a Text Box.. this usually happens on the last sentence to make them fit so its not seriously time consuming every time just to get it to look right.
A) I end up giving up with how messy the spaces look just to save time fiddling around to make it perfect which is very annoying and time consuming.
8) Ability to merge and unmerge text boxes manually without the text moving
A) Saves time if you want multiple text boxes to contain the same format or edit by selecting all in the one text box
B) Saves time if you want to move them all at once
11) For Radio Buttons please add an option for the whole inside circle area to be filled in instead of a dot.
A) Personal preference as it saves time moving the inside dot bigger to cover the area inside then copy and paste it to tweak further for different sizes
12) Hitting CTRL + F brings up Find if you search a word "The" you can find the next word "the" if you are in the edit PDF tool it should automatically go in the text box if applicable
you could just hit DELETE on the keyboard and it will remove it or you could start typing and it will make changes instantly. Also it should be highlighted whilst editing until you click next or get out of find
A) Saves time clicking then dragging on text that's already selected
B) Speeds up editing
13) Ability to extract fonts from a PDF instead of going to another program or finding the font then to download and install just to do this makes me question why?
14) If you are in the middle of moving an image, text box or field with the mouse the pdf page moves with it. Using the arrow keys should also do the same for convenience.
15) A top 5 Recently used fonts should be added and appear at the top of fonts in the order of most recent used at the top of this list.
16) If your zoomed all the way in and you move something like an Text Field the focus will snap to the middle, this gets annoying because you have to go back to the corner to see if it's been aligned properly since I can't tell.
OR
HOLD CTRL and then use an arrow key to move it one pixel at a time to fine tune the placement!
A) 1st Priority should be what area you're focusing on and not automatically leave because then you waste more time and have to go back to see it again
B) Saves time and lets you put things exactly where you want them.
17) While editing for long periods at a time the program can becomes really laggy and slow after awhile which I end up saving if it doesn't crash then closing and reloading the PDF.
This is because you run out of disk space when working with big PDFs
Simple fix could be what Bandicam does when screen recording:
A) Add a visible constantly updated at the top of the window your current disk space / your total disk space installed.
B) Could be colour coded depending on the file size to let you know you should really save it
if you have over 1GB of data = Green
Under 1GB - 500MB = Yellow
Under 100MB = Red
I usually have Bandicam open so I can see when it's time to save the document and reload it.
18) Delete once a month if not used the temp files that's made saved backups?
19) If 2 separate text boxes are on a a big image it's hard to select the text to edit without selecting the image. It's very time consuming to zoom out select outside the image only to accidently get another piece of text to redo the area select.
Please make the bigger material below gets last priority to select.
20) When trying to resize, if it's a small size box, trying to select the middle to bring it closer is tough so you have to zoom right in. Like <-|-> Please make it so the middle area is for length and the corners are for diagonal adjustments.
A) Such a major inconvenience when you have to zoom in but can't see where it needs to get increased or reduced to because you had to zoom right in just to select that size.

21) Ability to make a Text field in line with an underlined word next to it, the text you paste is now on the same line as the original,
so you have to undo losing your current work or redo it. WASTE OF TIME! AND when you delete the text the underline stays but the text goes...
Hitting Justify on it shrinks 3 lines to 2, this must be a bug.
Copying the text fields, undoing everything then pasting the changes I want then still moving them into position waste a lot of time but finally made it decent enough.22) When hitting redo Text Fields aren't apart of it if you're changing the Field Order. It undoes the changes, not redo them. I deleted the entries in them moved a Text Box hit undo then redo only moves the Text Box.
Now it's a bug, because when I click on the Text Field Box, it appears empty... but there's text.23) When resizing the drawn box could the actual line be exactly where the edge of the box lines up to when letting go of the dragging, when zoomed in.
24) When zoomed in and you make a corner for example then zoom out it looks like it's not a corner but a line is to long or short
25) You can hold shift which highlights, but that only highlights
not un-highlights. Please make un-highlighting work too.26) Please add a history for undoing and redoing it's so confusing when you undo something and there's no way of seeing it if it's a small tweak and it's in the corner of your focus...
Or always go to the exact area even zoomed right in so you can clearly see what was undone.27) If A text field is on top of another and you've selected the one underneath, the dot and the tiny little dot to resize it out of the way is covered and un-selectable to do so.
28) Matching height & width doesn't work properly for Text Fields.
had 5 small boxes next to each other and which I click match Width & Height, it's not even close to being identical.
Aligning Left and Right just makes them stack on each other...29) You can't align text Boxes? that means wasting time doing it manually.
30) If you copy and paste a few text fields (Mine were radios) then after selecting it, right clicking in the Field order and adding a new field to what I assume to currently selected fields doesn't work.
So adding a new Text Field does the same thing as right clicking and trying to change the current Text field.
I can change the appearance of the type of check in a radio box which is hidden in properties though.Do not change height and width when changing position should be ON by default and visible on the options in tools....
31) Tooltip is very vague and there should be options for having text that appears on top or down below it and could the tooltips be in the top left instead of in the PDF area on top of something I need to see.
32) After selecting changes to the Text field then putting them in the selection area again to select it, it goes out so you have to click on Prepare form again.
33) If there 2 text boxes and the one on top is underlined
I don't know why, but when I move the text box the underline stays and the words move.33.1) Text Fields on top of each other get joined together when you saved the PDF and reload it.
34) Opening multiple PDFs doesn't work.
Checking 2 files to open then hitting enter only opens one.35) You should be able to edit in compare so you can make adjustments at ease so when you leave compare it's all saved.
36) It would be nice after making a Text field if you could have the option of making a custom box around it with options like colour, eyedropper, thickness box line type to save a lot of time creating one manually.
Then, if you wanted you can just copy and paste this text with a box, delete the text and the box will stay until you delete it too. Another option on right clicking it "Remove box"37) If you have a black box it would be really nice if you fill it with a Text Field instead of trying to measure it out to save a ton of time.

Take a black box image for example.
Right-click and you get a few options
Fill with a Text Field
Fill with existing Field and then it will go straight to the Text Field Order and you can select one of those to instantly fill the space. If you click anywhere but the Field Order it will just cancel.OR another option for underline
keep the underline going all around to make a box38) For the organising pages feature, a PDF I had to edit was in the wrong order back to front, could there be an option for front to back or a reversed order option to save time shuffling the pages in the order you need.
39) Could the default grid lines be exactly aligned and symmetrical on the page?
Maybe it is the default, but this was the first time I tried using the grid and it's all uneven on the page.
