AI Assistant (beta) button
Please give an option to EASILY get rid of the AI Assistant (beta) feature. Ever since installing the latest update, my Acrobat Pro runs SUPER slowly. I don't actually need AI to read documents. I do need Acrobat to be able to scroll without freezing constantly. Otherwise, what's the point of paying for Acrobat when there are tools that scroll perfectly fine for free?
The new UI is fine otherwise, but I had to disable it (View > Disable new Acrobat) just so I could scroll through documents without Acrobat freezing constantly since you added that AI Assistant feature.

The new AI Assistant (beta) might be useful for some, but for me, it's caused major performance issues. Since the update, Acrobat Pro has become incredibly slow — especially when scrolling through PDFs. I don’t need AI to read documents, I just need smooth performance, which I used to get before this change.
Please give users a simple way to disable the AI Assistant permanently. Having to go through View > Disable new Acrobat just to make scrolling bearable is frustrating. If this keeps up, I may switch to free tools that don’t freeze my screen.

The AI Assistant (beta) button is a powerful tool that offers quick, intelligent help right when you need it—streamlining tasks, answering questions, and boosting productivity with just a click. It’s designed to support you in real time, reducing stress and enhancing focus.

I would also welcome the option to easily disable AI assistant blinking at me and interrupting my work. I may be interested to use it occasionally, but on my own terms, and breaking my concentration with invitations to use it will not entice me. Just the opposite, it soured me on new Acrobat look.

I am increasingly frustrated with the "AI" features being shoehorned into every Adobe product, especially Acrobat. I want the ability to turn off all AI "features," completely. It is problematic that I am constantly being bombarded with AI trying to "helpfully" suggest that I let it write for me or summarize documents. I work in legal / contracts, and we absolutely cannot trust machines to do this properly. My job depends on humans, not computer language models making guesses!
