'Compare Files' For Legal bills
The 'Compare Files' function is a very helpful way to see changes in a document. However, it would be great to have more controls over this feature. For example, I use this function to look at revisions and edits to bills being considered in state and federal bodies. They will release long documents and not include change logs. So instead we have to try to identify all of the edits or differences between a house and senate version. It would be great if we could ignore the line numbers on the left hand side, in addition to headers and footers for this analysis, especially as the pages may not line up anymore either. Take a look at a few bills to see. These types of controls would be a huge help in legal review and more efficiently identifying changes to legislation. Some of these bills run into the 100s of pages. This control could also be limited to certain parts of a page, or sections. example comparison file included
