Searching a PDF in Adobe Reader has become very slow

Searching (ctrl^f - search for a text) in a large PDF file in Adobe Reader has become very slow. Searching the same file in Edge or Chrome is fast. I use Microsoft Word to make a document, and save from there to PDF. An example is attached. I noticed the slow performance in Adobe Reader during the last year or so, I am not sure when it started, but it as not always like this.

    I have used Adobe Reader "forever", and this performance problem has never been there in the past. There are some extremely large PDF files out there, and performance of the Reader is therefore important. The File I attached is not very large or complex, but it shows the problem very well. - My computer is a top-end workstation with Windows 11 and the latest software updates.
