Printing Problem
Outputs PRINT command instead of Document
Starting in March 2025, when I try to print a .PDF file (using Acrobat Reader DC ver. 25.001.20435), the output (from my Epson Expressions XP-4100 inkjet "all-in-one" device) consists of multiple pages concerning the Print command (note point [c] below), rather than the actual document! (I am using a [2020] HP laptop running [64-bit} WIndows 10 [Ver. 22H2 (OS Build 19045.5608)].)
(a) To stop that "repetitive" printing, I must uninstall and reinstall the printer. (I have also chosen to stop the Print Spooler, deleted the files and folders in %WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers, and then restarted the Spooler.)
(b) Curiously, I am able to successfully print the .PDF file from a Web browser (e.g., FIrefox)!
(c) The FIRST page of the Acrobat Reader DC print output contains the following.
POST /ipp/print HTTP/1.1
Connection: Keep-Alive
Content-Type: application/ipp
User-Agent: Windows Internet Print Provider
Content-Length: 571
Host: localHost

(1) When I tried printing an .XLSX document today, Excel kept stating that my printer was "Offline". so I removed and reinserted the USB cable -- after doing that, the printer again started outputting pages like those in point (c) of my Mar. 27 posting above.
(2) After I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer (i.e., "Step 3" in MIcrosoft's 'Fix printer connection and printing problems in WIndows' URL below), I was able to print that Excel document, as well as Word and Acrobat Reader DC files -- therefore, the issue may have been 'related' to my USB Port!
