e-signatures
Permit simultaneous assignment of multiple fields to signor email addesses.
Am I the only person who feels that Acrobat's “Request e-signatures” tool is useful only for securing signatures and nothing more?
I have a form created to request e-signatures from six people. A row of nine checks boxes is positioned adjacent right of each signature field, representing each hour, 8:00AM through 4:00PM. The purpose is to determine times on a given date when everyone will be available to schedule a meeting. The idea is for each signor, beginning with the host, to “X” their available time slots on that date,, so the requestor receives the completed form after all have signed. These checkboxes are not restricted and have no default value. The objective is to expedite scheduling a real estate closing, which otherwise gets accomplished through a ridiculous chain of emails back an forth with the participants, a process that can often take place over the course of two or three days.
After uploading the form and assigning addresses to the signature fields, unless a signer's checkboxes are assigned to a signer, one box at a time, the boxes are not accessible to anyone. It would help a great deal if multiple fields (in this case check boxes ) could be assigned simultaneously.
Otherwise, the process of trying to do anything other than requesting e-signatures is so very tedious and frustrating. Sometimes it seems Adobe makes things unnecessarily complicated. Enabling the means to assign a signor to multiple fields at the same time would permit the user to position the fields in Adobe Acrobat DC BEFORE uploading it, which would be much simpler than uploading the form and then placing fields.
