  1. Form endlessly blinks, the text does not show properly as you are typing, very slow if you try to suffer through and use it anyway (color wheel appears after a few clicks). This is only an issue on my new MacBook Pro (M1 with Big Sur). My 2015 iMac with Catalina does not have the same issue.

  2. Right now the user has to dig through various TEMP folders in Windows in order to MAYBE find the document they spent hours working on before the program or Windows crashed.

The problem is that TEMP files are usually scratched after a reboot, so this means NIL former versions.

Other programs like MS WORD will show to recovered, unsaved documents prompt from a crash like this.

Why in 2023, is this not a feature in this commonly used program?

  3. The option "Delete Empty Tags" is still visible within the Acrobat UI and has been broken since an update was pushed September 2020. I understand from working through the Admin Console that there are no plans to fix this.

"Delete Empty Tags" is a very important function for PDF remediation. Since this option was broken three years ago, remediators have to manually delete each empty tag.

    Please bring this back.

  4. The frame that pops up when editing forms (at the right) is a fixed width. Which means, if you have long field names, you have to scroll horizontally back and forth to review and edit.

Would be great if this frame was made adjustable!

  5. You have implemented this feature 5 years ago https://acrobat.uservoice.com/forums/590923-acrobat-for-windows-and-mac/suggestions/19741672-add-an-addional-field-type-picture-field-in-the

It seems like the feature is thus far undocumented: https://opensource.adobe.com/dc-acrobat-sdk-docs/pdfstandards/PDF32000_2008.pdf

Would it be possible that you could document it in your next iteration of the pdf specs so that we can have a chance of it working in other software as well?

I have tested and the feature works in both acrobat and foxit, but when I load the document in any browser, the picture insertion field does not work...

I can't believe it if I am the only one facing this brick wall...

We are an NGO with the purpose…

  6. InDesign allows for the creation of PDF forms, including text fields, but unfortunately, it doesn't allow users to modify the text field as Acrobat can. For instance, I would like to be able to include default text in my forms (text that appears inside the text field after exporting my InDesign document to PDF); to align the text (left, right, center); etc. It also would be nice to be able to export from InDesign to an Acrobat Reader Extended PDF without having to do so from Acrobat. Adding these Acrobat capabilities to InDesign would be a huge time saver.

  7. Case # E-000820640
I am looking for a true "blank" option in a dropdown list with properties that pass a "null" value in Acrobat Pro.

The blank should be filed as a label but should not show as an option in the dropdown.
I do not want to use a spacebar because it creates a blank option in the dropdown menu which means it’s technically not “null” or empty.
This can already be done in Microsoft Excel, but Acrobat does not recognize this feature.

  8. You should be able to set the defaults for the rich text paragraph settings. Currently if my users delete the text in a form field to enter their own input they have to us the hotkey to bring up the rich text properties, click more, and then choose "text middle/bottom/top" to get the desired layout.

As the form creator I should be able to set these for a form field the same way I can set the alignment, Left/center/right/justified.

Text Centered vertically is very useful for certain forms and needs to be possible even for multi line inputs.

  9. It would be helpful for Adobe to allow duplication of signature fields across multiple pages. It is not uncommon for signatures to be required on multiple pages of a document that will get printed and distributed in parts such as work schedules, engineering drawings, etc. Allowing the signer(s) to be able to sign once and have it carry throughout is handy and available in other pdf programs. I am using Adobe Acrobat DC.

  12. I suggest you use the CubexSoft MBOX to PDF Converter to export MBOX emails to PDF file format. It is also important that the tool offers several conversion options in one installation. In addition, it allows you to convert MBOX files into PDF with all Windows OS including 11, 10, 8.1, 7, XP, Vista, and so on. All of these MBOX to PDF conversion features allow you to access MBOX files in almost any email conversion program be it Thunderbird, Apple Mail, Eudora Mail, Netscape, etc.

  13. All forms that I personally made with the exception of DA 31s are blank now. I have made all my counseling work back in 2021 and are now showing up blank. All my work from February are blank and I don't know why. This is a real inconvenience as I use all my work as a background for future counselings to make them better. please help

  14. It should be possible to scale images proportional and scale them over the whole frame in forms. This is called 'Autofit' in indesign for example.
See also the screenshot attached. Frame should be completly filled (left) but proportional (right). This would be really helpful.

  15. MacBook Pro: Chip Apple M1 Pro, Memory 16 GB, MacOS Ventura 13.0.1 Acrobat has a particular performance drop when using the form boxes. At my work we are provided with a PDF file with fill boxes we need to use to write our weekly plans. On my Windows based computer everything runs as expected but when working from my MacBook Pro there is a serious performance degrading glitch. Whenever I select on a box to write in, I notice the entire PDF file lags and has difficulty scrolling or registering actions easily. Severely slowing my workflow. Only when I click…

  17. Right now I use PAGE LABELS to split a pdf into single page .eps, or .tiff files, but it won't do it for PDF files. I want to be able to make an action that when I use PAGE LABELS, split a multi page PDF file into single PDF Files. I don't want to click 12 times and go to tools, organize pages........

  20. I build all our business processing forms and agreements in LiveCycle Designer. Once the document is set up, I save the file. I then do a 'Save as Other-->Reader Extended PDF-->Enable More Tools (including form fill-in and save)'. This allows the end user to open the PDF in Adobe Reader, fill in the form fields, and save the completed form to their computer. This week, when attempting to do what I have been doing the past several years with this 'Save as Other' function, I get an error message "This document could not be Reader Enabled."

    I sincerely hope this…
