  1. I want to publish a magazine on my website. The page is normal HTML, with a clickable link that opens the PDF. I can prevent the PDF being printed, but I cannot prevent it to be downloaded. Some services, like www.issuu.com, make that possible, publishers can prevent downloading PDF's from that site. What I want is that I can password protect my PDF on my website, so that it can be opened, but not be downloaded or printed. It would be very nice if Acrobat DC makes that possible, then I can use my own website and don't need…

    1. Open compressed (zipped) file in "File Explorer"
    2. Have preview on for "File Explorer"
    3. Select the PDF for preview in File Explorer
    4. Open the PDF
    5. Receive Error message Error Message: "Windows cannot complete the extraction. The destination file could not be created."

    OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit

    Workaround

    1. Turn off Preview in File Explorer and Adobe Acrobat opens the PDF without any issue.

    2. Task Manager --> End Task Adobe Reader process --> Open PDF

Note: Adobe Reader is not installed

3: Uninstalling Adobe Acrobat (Not really an option, if you want to use Acrobat).

  2. I don't pay for Acrobat so you morons can dump ads for your apps. The more you bloat a paid application, the less we use it.

  3. Ability to open PDFs in Organizer MOde by default (or to switch back and forth). Or alternatively the ability to switch to organizer mode for multiple PDFs that are open at the same time. Right now, you would have to click on each PDF individually and then click on Organizer

  4. In the latest Update for Acrobat, 19.012.20036, Distiller broke all our Workflows! Distiller renamed the Input and Output folders on our German MacOS Installation from "In" and "Out" to "Nach innen" and "Nach außen". It seems to get somehow translated automatically, since "In" and "Out" correspond to the translations the folders now have. The Problem ist, we are working with scripts to check those folders, and those are now not working anymore! This needs to be fixed ASAP! Also, the "ß" in the "Nach außen" is a big problem when working with network shares, as this is a special character…

  6. We need 3D capabilities in PDF form, so we can create brochures, e-books with 3D models that potential clients can observe the products in 3D.
Having the capability of checking the products in more dimensions would help people acquiring either model is being marketed

  7. If someone expands text on indesign or illustrator before exporting, it means they do not want it to be editable in acrobat and now it will automatically convert it back unless the file is password protected.

That is not ok. Missing the old versions.

  8. Since I upgraded acrobat Pro DC to version 19.021.20048, when I opened the software, it always stuck and couldn't be used at all. My computer system is macOS 10.14.6. I have tested two Macs (macOS 10.14.6) that also have this problem. What's the matter, please? Please resolve as soon as possible.

  9. The pdf is too large to open in Adobe. (Assumed because the program crashes when attempting to open the file.) The only way to reduce the file size is to open the file therefore I cannot reduce it because the program continues to crash.

  10. When are you going to have your "Help" feature as part of the program for quick access and meaningful search results, like with Word or Excel? Instead, I get some worthless link that opens a browser to your website, opening slow as **** monster graphics files and/or videos, with worthless unrelated search results posted by random users. Just AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL.

  11. Serious freeze-on-startup problem with Acrobat Pro DC--it seems to be completely broken. (I've stopped using it and have reassigned Acrobat XI Pro as default pdf application. Though Pro 11 is no longer supported, it's at least functional.)

    • App version: Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 19.012.20040
    • System: 2016 Macbook Pro, OS 10.14.6; 2.7GHz Intel i7, 16GB RAM.

    • First observed on Mac OS 10.13.4 (High Sierra) and corrected by updating to OS 10.13.6.
    • Problem resurfaced with OS 10.14.6 (Mojave).

Note: uninstall-reinstall attempted with no improvement in both old and new operating systems; also tried restarting the computer.

  13. In versions before Acrobat Pro DC you could scroll through advanced search results with the down arrow. Now you must select and click on the entry, a HUGE time waster and annoying step backward in Acrobat's functionality.

  14. I received this document via email, and it previews fine in my Outlook Client, I downloaded and opened the file to sign, and Acrobat Pro would not display the file correctly. I was under pressure to sign the document, and I ended up downloading Foxit Reader and it read and allowed me to sign the document for free. Later I viewed the same document on my Android device in Acrobat, and the same error was reproduced. I contacted support and they were unable to resolve the issue. I'm would like to elevate this for a resolution. I pay money to…

  15. Adobe Acrobat XI Standard opens for 10-20 seconds before crashing. No error dialog, the application window simply disappears. Have run repair, have uninstalled Reader, have run as administrator, same result. Computer has been rebooted several times. This is for a managed client who critically needs Acrobat to function.

  16. The "save as" dialog menu in Acrobat Pro (Windows edition) looks counterintuitive, especially the location of "Choose a different folder" button. I've never seen such a menu structure ever. Normally Windows Explorer has a similar thing on the top of the menu. It's a good idea to have a list of recent folders on a screen, but actually I need easy access to other folders on my computer. And it would be great to make this menu looks similar to Windows Explorer. At least I'd place the folder path somewhere at the top of the window (as seen on the…

Can you please elaborate more the issue you are facing with the File rename eg where and when do you want to rename the file.

  18. Back to the usability idea ... One should be able to have a UNIQUE reference number for each and every post. If users/moderators take the time to review posts, then they should be able to reference them BY NUMBER in their own personal notes and to others.

Right now I cannot possibly suggest that you refer to comment xxxx from date xxxx under topic xxxx .....

How about a simple SQL database to track things ??? These pop-up subcategories by keyword search are helpful, but they are not nearly complete !

    PS Number = xxxxxxxx + Section + 2 keywords…

  19. Duh is this Nov 2019? Why can't I search both titles only and entire text for all requests? Does Adobe seriously want/expect users and moderators to scan FORTY-FIVE (45) pages of a forum to weed out duplicate requests ?? .... I certianly do NOT want to put in a NEW request for something that's already in the count. WORSE YET, if the same concept is entered 4 times as 5 + 3 + 2 + 10 votes, then Adobe will surely not value that as 20 VOTES and will probably NOT fix it !!! Another dis-service to the users, especially…
