The current minimum iOS requirement is iOS 11.2. If you have an older iOS version, you will not be able to install the latest version of Acrobat Reader.

Here are a couple of options that you can try.

    (a) Update iOS on your iPad/iPhone

If you have a relatively new iPad/iPhone (e.g. iPhone 5s/SE or later OR iPad Air 1st gen. or later), you should be able to update to iOS 12.1. After updating iOS to the latest version, you can now install the latest version of Acrobat Reader.

    (b) Download the last compatible (not the latest) version of Acrobat Reader

When you go to the App Store app on your iPad/iPhone and try to install the latest version of Acrobat Reader, do you see the alert with the title “Download an older version of this app?” and the Download option?

If so, you can choose the Download option from…

  3. How do I cancel the subscription of this in app purchase? I only needed the PDF to be exported as a word file for one time use. I don’t need any more subscriptions of this app.

    Hi Geoff,

You cannot move files in Home > Recent. Please switch to Files > Locations to move files.

    1. Tap “Files” at the bottom tab bar.
    2. Select a location (e.g. “On This iPad/iPhone”, “Document Cloud”).
    3. Tap “…”.
    4. Tap “Move” from the menu that pops up.
    5. Select a destination folder.
    6. Tap Move.

    Hope this helps.

  7. First I create a fillable form using Acrobat Pro (latest version)
    - Then I add the document to Dropbox
    - I open Dropbox on my iPad and select the file
    - I opt to open the file in Adobe Acrobat (as they are linked)
    - I fill out the fillable file and then sign the bottom (adobe doesn’t support iPad signing if the document has been made will a sign area in the form).
    - Once I add the signature (using fill and sign) the document warns that ‘Signed documents are no longer editable once saved).. which is exactly what…

  10. My credit card was improperly billed. I was not informed I would be billed for the product but I just saw Adobe * Stock charge of $31.53 which I would like refunded. I do not wish to use the app if I have to pay for it. Thanks!

  12. After actualization the new app keeps deleting/not saving the coments, the highlights, etc., all the modifictions I do to the pdfs. Why?! It is extremely frustrating, as I work with Academic texts in my PhD research, and I lose every single note I add. This never happened in the ancient app, which was very fine.

Need Info  ·  Jeffrey Xiong responded

    Hi,

We’re really sorry for any inconveniences this has caused.

If you can answer any of these specific questions, that would be really helpful:

    - How long had you been commenting for before you lost data?
    - Did you click the ‘done’ button in the top left?
    - Did you only use a single tool (highlight), or did you alternate?
    - How did you leave the pdf you were commenting before your comments were lost? (Switching to another app, closing the app, etc.)
    - Did you share the file?
    - Did the app crash?

If possible, would you mind taking a screen recording of the issue? You can find information on how to do so here: support.apple.com/en-us/HT207935

    Thank you,
    Jeffrey

  14. It would be awesome if Acrobat would show the reading progress and "read" in the files view. It would me the perfect PDF eBook reader. 😊

  18. Hello,

First of all, I would like to thank you for your permanent efforts to bring to us new useful features!.
Secondly, I want to share with you my feedback regarding Adobe Reader app, which I’m using on Iphone 6s.
I noticed that after your last upgrade when I scroll upwards automatically the upper bar shows up (the bar containing the search tool, view settings..). It’s really annoying that every time I scroll up this bar shows and hides the upper part of the page I’m reading (the screen isn’t big anyway..). In previous versions this wasn’t the situation; I…

Hi – We fixed this in a recent update. You can now use the tap gesture to show / hide the chrome and there is no auto-hiding. Hope you like it! Really appreciate both the positive and constructive feedback!

  19. One issue with Adobe Scan is that 90% of the time I'm scanning A4 documents, and after cropping, my multi-page PDFs have pages with different sizes. If I'm scanning A4 documents, they should be scaled up/down to A4 regardless of how I cropped the scan.

  20. Lag Updating and scrolling through pdfs on iPad Air 2 after updates are accomplished. Takes a long time for the pdfs to load then after loading, the pdfs are opened to read and take a long response time to scroll through the pages.
