Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Kindly share with us some specific pdf files for which you are facing this issue.

  3. The attached 5 page document jumps to the last page skipping four pages. The first page occasionally flashes into view when opening but than seems to disappear.

The document was annotated with Adobe Acrobat X Pro

  5. When opening a 300 DPI Tiff with Jpeg compression with Adobe Acrobat DC it immediately gets downsampled to 96 DPI. This is fine if you want smaller file sizes, but i want to at least have the option to retain (and subsequently save) the original resolution as a PDF

When contacting support I was told that this was expected behaviour for the product, but for me this is a bug. The zoomed in image clearly shows the difference in detail.

  6. Occasionally after 2 files are selected to be combined into one pdf document, there is only a blank gray screen, instead of showing the two documents side by side. I know that this happens when one of the documents to be combined is open and that makes sense to me, but it happens under other circumstances that I can't identify. When I close the application and open it up again, it works fine.

    Hi

Thanks for reporting the issue. Unfortunately we are unable to take this request due to other high priority items. However, as a workaround, you can quit and re-launch Acrobat and do Combine from Tools for a successful conversion.

    Thanks

  7. I am using Acrobat DC. I have set up an action wizard to print all PDF's in a folder. The files in question are colour bank statements. When I run the action wizard in random instances at least 1 pdf in the batch will open but fail to display any of the text. All frames and some header/labels are visible but the contents of the statement is typically not visible. This then gets sent to the printer and before it's finished loading, Adobe closes the file and moves on to the next file in the folder. It's extremely frustrating! I…

  10. My Adobe Acrobat 2017 which is brand new (previous old version had this problem too so I bought the updated version) is crashing whenever the program is opened or a file is opened. Attached are the error messages it's giving. I've run a repair and checked for updates and this still occurs. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the program and it still occurs.

  12. I usually have to work with up to 20 PDF files at the same time that are located in different folders. Very often I need to search among them for some term, reference or key word.

  13. I keep getting an error message that it cannot open the original files (they're in Word). This is really slowing down my workflow as I have a lot of documents to convert.

  14. A next/previous file tool would be very helpful for navigation. When trying to look at multiple documents back to back, I have to open up each document rather than having one window where I can change the file that I am editing.

  16. The margins in the word doc are changed when converting to a PDF file. One inch at the top, One and a half at the bottom, One inch left and one inch right are changed to two and a half at the top and less than a 1/4 inch at the bottom. No way to change this.

  17. There's a lot of opportunities to grab the screenwriting market: you can tie your screenwriting product into the rest of your creative suite by adding a graphical component to it, like storyboards. Don't give up too soon on a product. Sincerely, Bill.

  18. When a edited PDF file is printed it produces fined printed dots in the back ground. I scan up paper docs to a PDF file for editing and the pages I edit produce dots in back ground when printed while pages not edited have a normal white clean background on paper when printed. I cant attach a file to show this bec it only appears on hard copy printing.. I have never seen this fault even on editing Microsoft Word docs

  19. When I look at multi-page PDF file, especially if it is a large page size, Reader gets hopelessly lost recalculating how to scroll. If you zoom in, the page scrollers stay locked at the pre-zoomed size, so that if you are moving around you will move the next page instead of being able to see all of the zoomed in view. It's also way too easy to slip to the next page when scrolling around a view, regardless of zoom level. The primary action of hand tool mouse movements should be to move the view around, not flip pages.

Thank you for reporting this to us. We shall have this shared with our engineering.
    Thank you for the patience

  20. When I try to scan & create a new PDF file, the program crashes after scanning 9 times out of 10. The only reliable way to scan and create a PDF is to combine it with a blank PDF file.
I'll take Acrobat XI over this time consuming software any day. Unless Adobe is willing to repay me for time lost!
