  2. As admin assigning licenses to users could I also have the ability to Carbon Copy when sending out the "invitation with instructions"?

Managers would like to be CC when the invite goes out to new users.

  3. When using the Flatten Transparency Preflight Fixup, transparent images that are flattened are heavily compressed, introducing extreme JPG artifacts and banding in smooth gradients.

This does not match flattening out of Indesign or Illustrator or using the Flattener in the Acrobat Print Production tools. We would expect to get the same results with the Preflight fixup that would be produced with other flattening methods.

See attached with examples of original unflattened art, art flattened with Acrobat Print Production and Acrobat Preflight fixup.

Preflight produces a severely degraded image with visible banding and large artifacts that aren't visible on the other…

  4. As also expressed in a bug report related to the changing of font colors within a PDF file, I would like to see Acrobat Pro XI and DC have the ability to change the font color of all pages - or a specified range of pages - within a given document, in one pass. Right now this process must be laboriously applied, one page at a time.

This feature would be analogous to the Crop Tool, for instance, which does provide the ability to apply itself to all or to a range of pages within the specified file.

  5. Adobe Acrobat Pro needs to have the ability to create expandable text field forms that allow the text box to expand when the user types similar to what you can do with Livecycle.

This is a feature that has been requested a lot online. Currently Acrobat Pro only allows multi-line text field forms with a scroll bar, but you cannot create an expanding text field form that increases in the height of the text field to accomodate more text.

The functionality to create this even in Livecycle is too clunky and complicated to use.

  6. Here is a posting I recently made to the Acrobat "Editing and Exporting PDFs" forum:

try67 wrote: "Yes, Acrobat Pro DC can scale all the pages of the file in a single command."

As it turns out, Acrobat Pro XI is supposed to be able to do this, but as I stated offline to try76, "... I experimented with increasing the white space around pages (to 8.5 x 11.0) in XI. The single-column test page I sent you is from a 9-page, mostly three-column document, and when I use the Cropping Tool while attempting to do this, there is one…

  8. having this checked as a default setting is offensive to clients and vector artists...lets be professional and turn this off as the DEFAULT in the next upgrade for Adobe Acrobat Pro....it has been this way to long.

  9. I believe that in invidual plan there should be: Branding, Social authentication, Advanced forms, Leanguages and Advanced Workflows.

By my opinion it could save lots and time and problems for Adobe Sign's users. :)

  11. I had been using the trial version for Adobe acrobat pro dc and really liked the feature where when i was using the program on my surface pro it automatically detected that i was using the microsoft pen and i could just write on the pdf's. I purchased the student version of the program and when i went to do the same thing and it did not work. I contacted your customer service and the person said the feature was not available on the version i purchased and that i would have to buy a subscription to get that feature.…

  12. When adding a PDF Portfolio to a file list (Combine Files) I get the following informational dialog box,

"File [File name] is a PDF Portfolio that contains multiple files. The files with the PDF Portfolio have been added to the file list." It requires that you click OK, before the files will be added and you can continue.

I wish to disable this dialog box as I am archiving thousands of files a day.

  13. Allow senders of Send & Track personal invitations to create a closing signature block or a letterhead that includes the senders contact info (such as sender's name, company name, street address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address, website address) within the e-mail. It's time-consuming to type the same info every time I send the invitations.

  14. I have to put watermark (my logo" on jpg files in a folder and then save new files to another folder; with an action doing:
    - add watermark (my logo)
    - save in a folder (same name+export as jpeg)
Compared to the version 7 (I used it until yesterday) it is much slower and works worse because to avoid having to close hundreds of pdf files (which are created do not know why) I had to add the action "do not save": note that one pdf always remains open to close at the end anyway.
    This is on Windows 10

  15. When opening a pdf file on Adobe Acrobat Pro (and some other times, just after launching Adobe Acrobat Pro), the app occasionally stops working and the cursor turns to spinning rainbow for a few minutes. Sometimes (after a long while) the app resumes its functions, other times it does not and I'm forced to force-quit the application and re-launch it.

    1. Launch Adobe Acrobat Pro / Open a pdf file on Acrobat Pro
    2. Mac Pro (Late 2013) (OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6)
    3. Proper Function
    4. Application crashes and / or freezes

Here is the report I'm getting when I force-quit the…

  17. When entering a named destination (for linking to within a PDF), it's impossible to enter a percentage sign ("%", U+0025). The symbol simply disappears from the name once entered.

It's possible it's being misinterpreted as a formatting specifier in a printf call (or something similar).

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Open a document and select "Edit PDF"
    2. Click the bullseye-icon in the left-most pane ("Destinations")
    3. Click "Create New Destination"
    4. Type "Bug%Test" and press Enter
    5. Note the result is "BugTest" instead of the expected "Bug%Test"

  18. Through version 9, the properties bar was dock-able. Since X it is not, but it should be. Properties are always useful, it is annoying to have it floating over the document when I have toolbar space at the top of my screen sitting empty and gray and sad. I get that the properties toolbar is context sensitive so it will grow and shrink, but it was in 9 also. Please make all toolbars dockable!

  19. I use Acrobat Version 2015.023.20070 on Windows and the functions "Copy Image" and "Save Image as..." - when selecting an image inside a pdf - work correctly in all cases so far, except:

Except for this specific diagram image at the bottom of the pdf slide attached, where the result is just a distorted part of the original image. I can reproduce the results. Note that if I use "Save Image as..." the resulting file is different from what I get when I use "Copy Image" and paste it into MS Word or MS Paint or Photoshop.

    This pdf slide…
