1. Adobe Professional 8 for Mac

   With the cost of software I would think that Adobe would continue to provide a download link for Adobe Professional 8 for Mac. I would not upgrade to another version only to be told that it is no longer supported in a few years

2. JDF Job Definitions Feature

   Acrobat X Pro had this feature. Our company started to rely on it. Now that we've upgraded to Acrobat Pro DC, it is gone. It seems to me that we aren't the only company that ran into this problem. Could you kindly add this feature back in the next update to Acrobat Pro DC?

   The feature for use of JDF in print workflows was removed in Acrobat XI Pro due to dramatic lack of interest and use by Acrobat users.
   Your valuable feedback helps us improving our product. We discussed about this particular issue and we do not have any plans to work on it in immediate future. However, we’ll have it in our radar and might revisit at an appropriate time in future.”

3. Products owned - Adobe Acrobat

   I was told I had no products. I entered the 24 digit # of my Acrobat product and was told: This serial number has already been registered. Products can only be registered once.

4. Preflight Error: value at index 0 must be an indirect object

   This is a bug report relating to the Acrobat XI Pro Preflight program.

   I have attached two files as an example.
   SOURCE_OUT01.PDF - This file contains a single bookmark linking to page 3 in DESTINATION.PDF
   DESTINATION.PDF - The is the target file of the bookmark located in SOURCE.PDF

   Acrobat XI Pro has no problem using the bookmark. Opening SOURCE_OUT01.PDF and clicking on the bookmark successfully opens DESTINATION.PDF and goes to page 3.

   The problem is that running (Preflight -> PDF analysis -> Report PDF syntax issues) on SOURCE_OUT01.PDF gives the following error:

   Incorrect value type for array element at index N
   General File Format Error
   The array element at index 0 is of incorrect type
   Value 2
   The value at index 0 must be an indirect object
   Value 2

   If you open SOURCE_OUT01.PDF in WordPad and search for "Go to bottom", you will see the "array element at index 0" referred to in the Preflight error is contained in object: 107 0 obj

   Specifically, Preflight thinks the 1st element of array [ 2 /FitH 440 ] must be an indirect object(ex. 9999 0 R) instead of the 2 which points to page 3 in the DESTINATION.PDF.

   According to the PDF manual I'm using:
   Document management — Portable document format — Part 1: PDF 1.7
   First Edition 2008-7-1
   Section: 12.6.4.3 Remote Go-To Actions
   using a page number while doing a Remote Go To Action (/GoToR) is required. Here is what the manual says:

   "If the value is an array defining an explicit destination (as described under 12.3.2.2, “Explicit Destinations”), its first element shall be a page number within the remote document rather than an indirect reference to a page object in the current document. The first page shall be numbered 0"

   This is why I believe Preflight needs to be modified to allow for this legitimate syntax.

   Also, the Acrobat 7 version of Preflight reports SOURCE_OUT01.PDF has no problems. The problem shows up using Acrobat XI Preflight.

5. This is for LiveCycle Designer 11, No option for it in list

   Please incorporate the function for using "hidden", so hiding Pages for Adobe Static form's PDF can be used. Currently you can only use this option for Adobe Dynamic xml form's, This will allow users to be able to use commenting. ie. "Stamps" when extended to Adobe reader, Save option is used.

8. Stop the Thumbnails from automatically popping up when I scan a document.

   Every time I scan in a new document, the thumbnails open and takes up half the screen. Please make a way to turn this option off permanently. This is one of the most annoying new parts of the last upgrade.

9. Bug: Blank space after new bookmark name

   Under Windows 8.1 using Acrobat Pro 10.1.16 when you create a new bookmark and manually type in the bookmark name it now adds a blank space at the end of the text. It did not do this under Windows 7. This is a problem when I split the document by bookmarks because now there is always a blank space before the file extension, i.e. "bookmark1 .pdf". I believe this to be a problem under Windows 10 too.

    After moving adobe pro 8 from a broken computer to a win10 computer the program is activated as
    <Removed Sr. No. by Admin>.

    When opening the program it take a minute to receive the message that licensing is not possible due to internet connections, Java script.
    What to do?

13. Adobe Standard

    Like the Adobe Standard, could scan more than one page of documents
    
    now I have to scan 1 page at a time loading and reloading, time is money..why change something that works. Don't understand taking that feature out of the software. Please bring it back, I'll have to find another program that will do this.

14. Page crashes when text is recognized

    I photographed a page from a book and when I attempt to OCR it Acrobat crashes. You don't need to respond to me about this directly. I just want you to have a copy of the file that crashes Acrobat, since this is 100 percent repeatable.

    The shared file is not found to be crashing on Win/Mac Machine with Latest Acrobat DC/Acrobat XI versions.

15. Floating pages UI

    Enable an alternative brand new UI that looks like you have pages in your screen.

    Also enable natural gestures like throwing the page away the screen to close or shaking it to stay always on top. (Really cool for touchscreen devices)

16. create pdf from web page sharepoint

    Bug Report: Not all content is captured when creating PDF from web page (SharePoint site)

    When using Create>PDF from Web Page, it usually works fine. However, when I try to use this function on a SharePoint site, the right side of the page gets cut off. I have resized the page, and it makes no difference. It is not an issue with the width of the page. The right 1/3 of the content is obscured with a white bar, even if the page size is twice as wide as it needs to be. I have tried this with various SharePoint sites.

    Using Acrobat DC, on both Windows 7 and Windows 10.
