Why is this feature still not available in Adobe? Seriously guys... This should have been available years ago!!!

Still no feature addition with Adobe? I too bought Adobe Acrobat Pro thinking it could do this basic task. Does anyone have an alternative? Besides Experience Manager?

I would like to know alternates as well. If Adobe is unwilling to respond to anyone maybe it's time to move elsewhere.

I would love to know what alternates are out there too. I've looked at several but none of them have this ability.

Was actually looking for more info on the Experience Manager and the costs involved - asked twice to have someone contact me - with the understanding that the only reason I'm looking at this option is if it has the ability to do expanding text field forms. Never heard from anyone. :-)

Any suggestions on alternate software that might do this function.

I believe Adobe's goal is to have everyone migrate to Experience Manager Forms. It must be really expensive though, because I can't find pricing anywhere!

This has been requested now for years. ADOBE ... let us know if you're going to do this or not. Under review for over two years is unacceptable

Absolutely essential that this feature be available in forms. Otherwise, we'll be forced to create such forms in Word, which has this capability.

This request has been on the docket for a long time. Years ago, I stopped using Acrobat because it lacked this feature. Switched to Word (c'mon Adobe, we really have to go there?!!). Luckily, the field of competitors grew substantially and there are some options. I decided to come back to Adobe to check things out before making a commitment. I am bummed that this won't work. It's not a hard feature to implement and it seems it's turning off new (or returning, like me) users quickly and sours the image of the brand. Please consider taking care of this asap. I'd like to stay with Adobe, but this feature is key.

I bought Adobe pro for this specific purpose only to find out it doesn’t have the capability. This is very upsetting for my company. I debated going with Adobe or another software program, and now I regret my decision. We will not be renewing. Now we’ll have to purchase from another company to fill this need. Such disappointment. You’ve absolutely fragmented your program availability to make more money and it’s sad. Glad there are so many competitors now. Lesson learned.

I need this for the form I am creating using the tools of Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017.

yes please, my company would like this functionality but wont pay for the extra license to use Experience Manager to include this functionality in our pdfs. This seems to be a huge oversight in Adobe's business planning - your suite of applications has become too fragmented and yet too dependent on each other.

PLEASE!!! I need this capability. Seems silly that this can't be accomplished.
