Why do I have to pay to edit PDFs from other providers?

Early on years ago it was the greatest, and for us FREE! Now it opens a document at the maximum size and I always have to resize it and I can't find the button that makes it open at 100% for all. Toolbar this sign in that, share etc., it's one size fits none now! I'm not a professional document creator I just HAVE to have it to open a PDF. Now I get messages that the document can't be displayed or use the functionality if I don't upgrade to the latest only to do that and I still get the message.

Adobe is full of greedy bastards. I paid for it and then the pin wheel of death suddenly appears and never stops spinning when I try to convert a pdf to a word doc. on my Mac. I just purchased Document Converter $9.99 for lifetime works better than Adobe ever did!

Trying to use Adobe reader with two documents side by side and I just wish I could get rid of the tool bars on the sides. Sure, you can collapse them up to a point, but even then, the scroll bar and the little "click-me-to-pop-out-some-useless-tools" bars add up to half an inch of my precious 15`` screen. And here I am, once again, straining my eyes. I will google for a different viewer while I am at it.

I can't believe you are still in business with on-line file mergers that took me less than 30 seconds to accomplish what you wanted $9 a month to do. Go back to Busking on street corners, because you truly suck at UX / UI.

WORST SOFTWARE EVER!!! My work requires that I deal with drawings printed as PDFs. The plug ins are absolutely abysmal. They do not work. The pan feature works about 1 in 10 clicks, the rest of the time it opens a dialogue box or shades the entire drawing a blue color, after which you have to zoon out then back in to get rid of. Who designs then sells such complete GARBAGE?! I completely waste 15 minutes for every minute of actual productivity with this garbage software. And I get to pay Adobe for the pleasure of these incredible aggravations!

Yes It is pathetic. It requires several tedious steps to to do a simple mark up. And with that it records comments that one cannot get rid of. I cannot manage a simple copy paste without watching 20 minutes of youtube videos. Can I get my money back?

adobe reader is worthless **** as bad as google

I am truly amazed that no amount of hardware can get any reasonable performance out of ANY adobe software. How do you write programs that function at the most marginal performance no matter what hardware you throw at it?

Acrobat DC Pro sucks. I've been using Pro for years and years, and it has gotten progressively worse. The most obvious things I need are not there, and the icon-driven menu is terrible. Even the online sources can't help! I think I'll just stop buying it (at work even, through my federal employer)

The software can't even remove a white space from a scan. There was no page there. The scanner cannot give that dimension, so I have no idea why adobe decided that the PDF was twice as wide. I can't edit anything so... Guess I'll save as an image, print as a PDF using some random pdf veiwer, and see if that works. (Hint: IT WILL WORK)

I ******* hate Adobe. It randomly relocates text in my pdf when adding a footer. WHY THE **** WOULD IT DO THAT. TOTALLY RANDOM. Slow, clunky piece of ****.

Use Foxit. Adobe reader is just too blotted to be a reader

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is totally useless. Why couldnt they just stick to what worked in the first place? I have to use foxit and other programs, even though I'm still paying for this. Developers should just re-release the old Acrobat Pro and forget about this mistake.

Adobe has lost their way. Adobe Reader loads like a slug and takes nearly a minute of disk swapping to drag itself out of the sewer before presenting an 84K file. This is on a decent running Quad with 8 GB of RAM. Unsatisfactory.

Why did they have to upgrade it and make Acrobat ****? What idiot said gave the green light to release this? I can't find any of the tools I used to use on a daily basis. Like and arrow for pointing to things - where the **** has that gone? Or a speech bubble for commenting. Disappeared and I just can't find anywhere. WTF. And I'm supposed to pay monthly for this garbage?

******** ADOBE. I have lost so much ******* time to your **** software. Im thinking of just taking you to small claims court for the maximum allowable amount in my state. Go **** yourself and break your back doing it!

I hated it, too. Then I realized that, after the update, PDF files were being viewed through my Microsoft Edge browser. That created the user interface I hated. When I changed my settings to instead open with adobe reader dc, I found that everything was back to what I consider normal, including the ability to easily attach a PDF file to an email.

Adobe really SUCKS

HIDE NAVIGATION PANE BUTTONS. I DONT NEED THEM. JUST HIDE THIS KIND OF **** BY DEFAULT. ALL I WANT IS TO VIEW A PDF WITHOUT TONS OF *****
