Highlight color
I need to change highlight colors based on the different significance of the text, but I need to select different colors from the properties menu. It really takes a lot a time, can you make a button to change colors more efficiently on the viewing page?
Hi
Adobe Acrobat and Reader official update (21.001.20135) containing the fix for this issue is now available. Color Swatch is introduced to change Annot color easily and can be used for Highlight , Underline , Strikethrough and Caret Type of Annotations. Also find attachment for the glimpse of feature.
This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. You may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates.
More information about this release is here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html
Please try it out and let us know your feedback!

Hi
I've been using the new Color Swatch feature and find it to be an improvement.
However, I believe there's still room for optimization to reduce the number of clicks required.I suggest implementing a pop-up swatch or pie menu (similar to for example Blender) to appear when a user is in highlight/comment mode and presses a key, say "Ctrl."
An ideal scenario would include a standard color being set, but users could also switch to different colors or add comments while making a selection by holding down the "Ctrl" key. The menu would appear, and users could choose options by hovering over them with the mouse and releasing the "Ctrl" key.
(As a bonus: The ability to create custom palettes of swatches and comment types, as well as the option to name them, would significantly enhance the user experience. The assigned names could also be searchable.)
Implementing these changes would make the feature much faster and more practical for research organization purposes.
Thanks,
Simon

Hi,
I find this colour swatch quite good.
However, it would be even better if there were 1 less click per highlight.
Currently, if you have the checkbox to keep the tool selected, once you've highlighted text, you have to expand the colour swatch, then click the colour.
A better alternative might be this:1. Always have the swatch expanded (an option to do this at least)
2. Have the ability to have custom colours/opacities in this expanded floating swatch.
3. Remember the position and colours of the expanded swatch upon next opening. Then, it would simply be highlight text as one click and drag, then click the colour in the swatch. This is 2 clicks, not 3.
Cheers
