Acrobat DC several times a day produce windows error reports

Several times per day Acrobat DC produces windows errors like this:

I think it is a problem with the "Recent Files-Picture" on the startpage. Because all pdf-files on my harddrive are working well, but when i open a pdf from an outlook archive or from another not local source, the error occurs. The error then has date and time when i close the document.
Is there any workaround to fix this problem or to deactivate "Recent Files"?

    We have the same issue here. All of our machines are plagued with this. For us, it seems to be related to accessing documents through Windows Explorer that reside on SharePoint Online, but I'm getting desperate for a solution.
