Unable to reactivate Embedded Indexes
I followed this tutorial (https://helpx.adobe.com/be_fr/acrobat/kb/enable-embedded-index-to-search-pdf.html) to reactivate embedded index in acrobat pro dc 2015 15.006.30.464. When testing the modification, The indexing is not functional.
Is there a solution of this problem ?
Best Regards
Hi,
We are sorry that the solution did not fix the issue.
Will it be possible for you to please share a sample PDF with us on which the issue can be reproduced?
You can mail it on sagrover@adobe.com

For Windows I think Adobe explained it wrong. You don't create a registry "key" - that doesn't work. What works is creating in FeatureLockDown a new DWORD named bToggleUseEmbeddedIndex and changing the value to 1.

Hi,
I checked again the path, key and value in the registry :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\2015\FeatureLockDown key bToggleUseEmbeddedIndex (REG_DWORD) to 1. Meanwhile, the product is update ti date to last version but the issue still persists.
