And guess what? Chrome's scrolling in PDFs will soon get much better.

The two-finger scrolling and pinch zoom on a touchpad is pretty bad. It is subpar when compared to chrome's built in pdf viewer. I'm using a Synaptics Clickpad.

If you scroll mousewheel while holding Ctrl it will zoom in and out.
If you are observing different behaviour please share the version you are on Acrobat and a video for same so that we can look into this.

Hallelujah! The changelog should've mentioned that you can finally scroll horizontally.

but scrolling is still a subpar experience on PTPs. It should be like touch or clicking and dragging with the hand tool. I mostly blame Microsoft though as they have control over win32 and choose not to improve it (as well as update the styling and even MS uses win32 so they have no excuses). But you are Adobe. You can get Microsoft to implement better scrolling. Oh and when you scroll and let go (starts scrolling inertially) but press ctrl, it starts zooming.

I have a precision touchpad. There should not be any issues. It's also worth mentioning that you cannot scroll the settings either. You have to use the keyboard, touch or use the tacks and/or thumb in the window. I also want smooth scrolling generally

This used to work for me then all of a sudden stopped working. It is very annoying and wish there was an update that would fix this.
