Documents not displaying correctly in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2020.006.20042
My new HP laptop doesn't display PDFs correctly using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2020.006.20042. It's got Windows 10 installed, which is up-to-date, and I've followed the advice on the forums - changed some settings, uninstalled & reinstalled the software, and HP have checked & reinstalled the video drivers, but still documents do not display correctly. HP won't help, as they say it's software related. The same documents display fine on my old laptop, and within a browser, so there is no issue with the documents. As a customer, the journey is not great that a brand new laptop can't even display a PDF correctly, and trying to get support from Adobe is ridiculously complicated... I've attached some files showing the display... the screen goes black, and the text turns into coloured dots... it's been reported many times before, but none of the fixes are working for me, so I can only assume this is a fault with the latest version?

My PDF is displaying with half of two pages. Like it needs to shift left or right. I’ve attached a pic. Have tried all the resizing and other obvious things. I’m at a loss. Any ideas?

Hi,
Thanks for reporting this issue. We are sorry to hear this.
Can you share one such PDF file to further investigate this issue.Meanwhile you can try the following workaround:
"Right-click on your Acrobat Reader DC icon on the desktop or navigate to the AcroRd32.exe file in this folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader
Choose "Troubleshoot Compatibility." Tell the troubleshooter to run this program in Windows 7 compatibility mode."
Hope it helps.
Thanks,
Sweta Karn
