Add more multifactor authentication options to Creative Cloud application logins (not CCDA)
We would like to have more multifactor authentication options supported in applications other than the Creative Cloud Desktop Application. We are using Shared Device Licenses in computer labs here, what they were intended for, with packages set to accept any valid AdobeID. (Access to the labs is controlled, so that no non-University people will be able to log in.) The users would like to simply open Acrobat and sign in using their university email address and password (which is a federated AdobeID using Okta authentication). If they try this, they are taken through our Okta login page, enter their multifactor token, but then get an error message and are closed out of Acrobat. However, if they click "Continue with Google" and log in to Google with the exact same email address, password, and Okta verification token, Acrobat logs them in and launches successfully.
When I submitted a support ticket, the consultant said the correct workflow was to log in to Creative Cloud Desktop Application first, and then open Acrobat. This takes up precious class time and our instructors are not happy with it. While our students can use Google authentication, not all of our staff have Google accounts.
Apparently Google and Adobe have an arrangement to allow their MFA to work. Could this be extended to others (Okta, ADFS, Azure, etc.) as well?
