Cannot copy some Japanese characters
Copying some Japanese characters with Acrobat Pro DC and Reader for Mac (2021.005.20048) on Big Sur 11.4 does not work, while it is OK with Reader for Windows (2021.005.20048).
Please try this PDF for example.
Copy and paste of "美濃加茂市" becomes "美濃加 市".
Thank you Gaurav. I confirmed the update makes the copy & paste functionality back. But it is quite inconvenient that this important update did not show up in the auto update.
Thanks for your time and for your cooperation on this.
Hope you are doing well.
The fix is available now with the latest update of Acrobat and Reader DC. Please install the latest update from the following link: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/continuous/dccontinuousjunehotfix2021.html#dccontinuousjunehotfixtwentytwentyone
Download the setup, run it, reboot the machine (if possible) and check the app functionality.

How do I downgrade to the previous version?
Thanks. What is "Edit App"? I cannot find it. Do you mean the "Edit PDF" tool? It is however cannot be a workaround because all the page content cannot be copied at once.
Thanks for reporting the issue.
We are able to reproduce it and has been sent to engineering team to fix the same in upcoming releases.
Workaround(For Acrobat DC users) : Try "Copy With Formatting" instead of Copy.
The same issue is seen in many PDFs. You can find an "official" PDF example from Adobe, which reproduces the issue in "新機能" at the top of page 2, resulting in "新機" after copy and paste.
I confirmed that the issue was reproduced on Mojave 10.14.6 ONLY AFTER updating to 2021.005.20048. It did not happen with 2021.001.20155 on the same Mojave machine.
