Adobe Sign Workflow - allow users the option to "Modify an Agreement" before first signor signs
My company purchased an Acrobat Sign Enterprise package in March 2022. Since then we have applied AS to an integral business document. The document did not require setting up a Workflow but has worked successfully with Adobe Sign. As an administrator for our AS account, I can say with confidence that the main feature that attributed to the successful application of AS to this document is the option to “modify an agreement” before signed by the first signor.
We are now exploring Adobe Sign Workflow to apply to several other business documents and create a more user-friendly platform for obtaining signatures.
Unfortunately, I was shocked to learn that within AS Workflow, the option to “modify an agreement” is completely unavailable. This block exists regardless of the facts that: i) the documents in the Workflow are marked “editable” (not “required”) and ii) the “User Group” assigned to the Workflow has the option to “Allow senders to modify agreements” checked!
The lack of this particular feature in AS Workflow absolutely impedes us from applying AS Workflow to MANY of our business documents. Please consider adding a feature to AS Workflow so that a workflow creator can choose whether or not to allow users to “Modify an Agreement” before the first signor signs. Without this option, we are unlikely to expand the usage of Adobe Sign within our company, as we approach the end of our account year (March 2023).
I see that a similar request was made by another user in 2017 but I hope more serious consideration will be given to this issue now, in light of our predicament.
