Bookmarks: Pages should move to the location in the document where a bookmark is moved to.
The U.S. Patent Office ("USPTO") includes Bookmarks to documents filed on its website. To report the documents to our clients, as filed with the USPTO, I follow the order of the documents as listed on the USPTO's Electronic Acknowledgement Receipt ("EAR"). We download the documents from the USPTO's website. Once you select the documents filed to report, they are downloaded into one file. That file will have bookmarks defining the specific documents downloaded. The order of the downloaded documents rarely match the EAR. For ease of reference for the client, I order the bookmarks to match the EAR. After the bookmarks are in order, I then have to go through the process of manually ordering the documents to match the bookmarks. This is extremely time consuming when there are many references, especially if they are in a foreign language. Your Intellectual Property group will understand this. It would be very convenient and helpful if Adobe enabled the pages to move when the Bookmarks are moved. If it's not something that works for every user, then make this an optional feature. Thank you.
