Highlight "pencil case" - changing highlight color easily
In reading papers, I use multiple highlight colors simultaneously, yet changing colors demands too much clicks.
Currently, there are two ways of changing the color: 1) highlight using the previously used color, click on the highlight, click to change color; the next highlight will use this changed color by default. 2) using the property bar/highlighter tool properties, you click on the top-down menu, click to select a new color and then highlight. Both options requires two clicks.
Suppose the physical world: you have highlithers in multiple colors, and in one action you chose the color you want to use.
My propoasal, per the screenshot, is the option to a more straight-forward Highligher tool option, as a pencil-case. Having the highlighter tool selected, all the colors are permanently displayed on the screen, and in one click you select the color you desire for your next highlight. Ideally, a user would be able to edit the colors (as in the Highlighter tool properties) and the number of colors, and this pencil case would be saved between sections.
(there are multiple comments sharing this difficulty in using the highlighter, and I am presenting a possible solution)
