  2. acrobat pro 8.1 had a feature "copy as table" that would copy part of a table in a pdf and allow you to paste it into excel with columns intact. this has been replaced with export in 2024. "copy as table" was much easier and more efficient. please bring it back

  3. I would like to request the return (or addition) of a drag-and-drop page replace feature in Adobe Acrobat.
In older versions (such as Acrobat 8), it was possible to drag a single-page PDF and drop it directly onto an existing page in a document to seamlessly replace that page. This workflow was extremely fast, intuitive, and efficient for users who frequently need to swap pages in and out of long or complex documents.
Currently, the only way to do this in Acrobat is through the Organize Pages → Replace Pages command, or by inserting a new page and then manually…

  5. Checkbox in the Header and Footer dialog for PRESERVE HEADER and PRESERVE FOOTER allowing a user to update the header or footer independently of the other. The removal of headers when footers are updated (for example) is unacceptable and causes so many issues.

  7. Hello,

Since the latest update of Acrobat Pro running on macOS Tahoe, I noticed that the highlight tool no longer shows the temporary blue selection when marking text. Previously, the selected text turned blue first, and only after releasing the mouse button did the chosen highlight color (yellow, green, etc.) apply.

This visual feedback was very useful, as it clearly indicated which text was being highlighted before finalizing the color. Without it, the process feels less precise and less user-friendly.

I kindly ask Adobe to consider restoring this previous behavior, or at least providing an option in Preferences to enable…

  9. The current feature set of Adobe Acrobat provides a wide range of options for setting permissions and protecting PDF documents. However, there is currently no targeted option to prevent the extraction of content by AI tools (e.g., large language models). Given the rapid development in the field of artificial intelligence, it would be extremely helpful if Adobe could implement a function that explicitly prevents or at least significantly complicates the automated extraction of PDF content by AI applications. This would be an important contribution to the protection of sensitive or copyrighted material.

Please consider if and when such a feature…

  10. When using shapes/objects to mark up a PDF, it would be super helpful to have an option to change the layering sequence of overlapping objects - similar to Microsoft Word where you can Move to Front Or Send to Back so that you can re-order the layering of shapes. Currently you have to cut and paste and delete to reorder

  11. Business owners often worry about year-end tax tasks, but QuickBooks makes printing W-2 forms much easier. Once payroll data is finalized, head to the tax forms menu. Select the W-2 form, verify the employee and employer details, and choose your preferred printing method. Depending on your subscription, you may print on blank paper or official W-2 stationery. QuickBooks also offers an electronic filing option, ensuring smooth submission. Keep in mind that employees will need their printed copies for personal tax filing.

  12. We started seeing this Save error on 12/30/24 with no change on our end other than keeping Adobe Acrobat Pro and Reader up to date with current version (2024.005.20320 64-bit). PCs OS is both Windows 10 and 11 pro. Our network share is DFS but testing done on non-DFS storage doesn't exhibit this issue nor does local storage.
Users edit a file on their network share and click the Save diskette icon expecting for the changes to save. Instead, they get the following dialog boxes and the following error:

Confirm Save As: Name.pdf already exists. Do you want to replace…

  13. Does anyone else have this issue of opening a PDF in the Acrobat application, and the text disappears, but when you open it in the Acrobat for web or in the preview app, its totally fine. Like what am I paying $25 a month for if the Web version is more reliable.

Have tried to do all the suggested check for updates/ embed text/ remove security settings etc etc but still haven't been able to get it to work

  14. Acrobat Standard Continuous Release, Version 2024.002.20857, Window 10 64bit. The application crashes when using the add header/footer function. The crash occurs when any field is modified, ie, text entry, in the header/footer editor shown.

  15. I keep trying to add notes and highlights to the documents I'm working on. The lagging is unbelievably frustrating. I am literally getting a lag every 10 seconds. Given how expensive this membership is, such basic issues should not be happening. Please help or I will be inquiring about compensation for such a faulty product

  17. Adobe & AI has made it impossible to ADD TEXT and it fails to auto correct spelling. Adobe has become a useless pice of **** product. and i want a refund & extra money for waste of time & damages due to stress. Everything now takes 10X as long as it once did. Adobe used to be a great tool Now it is a tool! that needs trashed.

  19. Hi,

I’m really sorry to say this, but Adobe Acrobat Pro on desktop has been extremely slow—especially when editing text. It’s frustrating and feels almost unusable at times. What’s even worse is that after spending an hour editing a document, saving it causes all Turkish characters to turn into unreadable symbols. Why does this happen?

I understand you might suggest adjusting font or encoding settings, but why should a regular user have to deal with that? I’m not supposed to troubleshoot your software—I expect it to work smoothly, especially considering the cost of the Pro version.

    Yes, I am actually…

  20. Some freebies for Adobe devs, While editing an existing pdf document and if the field has calendar control when clicked as per below steps, the application crashes entirely and unsaved data is lost and non-recoverable;

    1. Open any editable pdf in Adobe desktop application where one of the field has 'Calendar Control'
    2. Without clicking on the calendar control itself, manually enter a date for ex: 21/06/25 and tab out, it will automatically format the date
    3. Now click on the same calendar control and see the magic.

Actual Results: The entire app instance is wiped killed from Windows Memory as if it…
