  1. New version is not nearly as good as the old version

    Please do not get rid of the old version. I use Mac OS and the new version does not work well for me. I am a heavy Pro DC user and finally had to call in to tech support to find a way back to the old reliable, consistent version. Editing a document on the new version is running about 50% for consistency. Please allow us to keep the old version indefinitely.

  2. Bug

    Sometimes it's impossible to rename a pdf-file. I have re-saved it several times but the original name (from an email) stays the same at the top of Adobe window. But in the Explorer view it shows the new name (that I want it to have).

  3. replace more than one page with certain page from another pdf file

    Please , Allow an option to replace more than one page that I selected with accurate page from another pdf file
    I tried to make it but it replaces only the first page of my range that I selected and other pages with no change

  4. Split pages no longer has side options

    There seems to be a new bug — on the left-hand side where there used to be options for split pages is now only a black and white emptiness.

  5. Acrobat shows me a blank space instead of the options to remove a password or export a PDF.

    This is a bug. I cannot remove the password protection on this PDF.

  6. Ask permission to change functionality

    Stop changing functions when the change is nonsensical and doesn't improve the function! It's annoying! At the very least, ask me if I want the change. Then, I can schedule when I will learn the change instead of during a deadline. New function in "organize pages" and I cannot figure out how to select only certain pages for extraction. So, instead of this being an easy task, I have to look up help. If Acrobat didn't dominate PDF, I would switch bc it appears that you care more about what you think is a great "update," that maybe your users…

  8. NEW UPDATE SUCKS - I CANNOT WORK WITH ANY EFFICIENCY

    My daily tasks can't be done - I am struggling to just print a stupid document - what use to be on the left is now on the right - what idiot thought that made sense to change the menu to the opposite side!!! Seriously people do you do any beta testing with real people in the field using this program!

  10. Bookmarks and page numbers overwritten when replacing pages in PDF

    Workflow that causes issue: I have a PDF book with multiple chapters. Each chapter starts as a PDF generated from InDesign with bookmarks (generated by a table contents) for the different sections in that chapter and a particular, chapter-specific page numbering scheme, e.g. the twelfth page of Section 2C becomes page "2C-12," the fifth page of section 3B becomes page "3B-5," etc. I start by combining all the chapter PDFs into a single full-document PDF. So far so good. The bug occurs when a chapter has been revised, a new chapter PDF has been generated from InDesign, and the pages…

  11. Bates range prefix only once

    I wish to boost a prior related comment by KJJ as its own request:

    "It's awesome that [bates stamping and changing the file name] now exists, but it's very clunky and not intuitive. I have 3 requests to make this better.
    (1) Please build it into the menu option so users don't have to remember to add %BATESNUMBERKEY% each time;
    (2) Please, please, please give us the ability to save it as a default so we don't have to set it every time ([like] how we can save bates numbering profiles);

  12. Can not copy using keyboard shortcuts [CTRL C]

    Using keyboard shortcuts [CTRL C], [CTRL P] & [CTRL V] does not work intermittently. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.

  13. adobe acrobat export removes text

    I spent a long time editing text boxes and typing new text into my document in Adobe Acrobat. I went to export it and many letters went missing, causing all kinds of messed up text. This has taken so much time from me, I will now be looking at other technologies for creating and editing my documents.

  15. Edit PDFs no longer easy

    I can no longer simply click where I need to add text and start typing. The PDF is now covered in boundary boxes that do not accept new text where I need it to be. One click and my entire document is a jumbled mess that looks like the letters are falling off the page. I am now having to click in the bottom corner of the page, start typing, and then drag and move the text box to the correct location on the document. Then, I can complete adding the information needed. I need the box to be higher…

    Guys, i don't know who's responsible of user experience, but your placed image properties submenu, which always floats over the image and blocks the view when i'd like for example to rotate the image - i's a shame.

    Option to turn off automatic optical character recognition (OCR) completely, not for each individual document.

    Every time I would like to edit a document, like insert a text line, the OCR runs and stops me from being able to work on my PDF until it is finished. When I have many pages on a document, it takes a long time and often doesn't recognise the text properly. So I don't want this running automatically. I need an option to turn it off or be able to turn it on for an individual document.
