1. Link Type: Polygon? (Currently you can only draw rectangle source links)

   When creating a link within the "Edit" tools, it currently only allows for a "Visible Rectangle" or "Invisible Rectangle". I'd like to see the program offer a polygon link option. Per the attachment, our company uses roof architecture drawings to link to a page in the document that provides further detail of the roof area.

   With the example attached roof area 6, the roof area is a irregular polygon. With the current functioning we end up having to draw several rectangles to cover the irregular area. I am proposing a polygon function be added that way we can draw a polygon over the area we are wanting our client to click on.

2. PDF size compression / reduction

   Dear Team,

   We have been using adobe acrobat for size compression of PDF files to upload on various government website. However, it is not at all effective in size reduction or compression. It hardly reduces the size even after going for advance optimization and reducing the pixel sizes or selecting extreme low option.

   On the other hand we notice that free websites such www.ilovepdf.com or smallpdf.com or pdf2go.com reduces the size of the same pdf files into half whereas paid app of adobe acrobat fails to do that.

   Request you to please look into this immediately.

3. Missing of important feature from the previous version

   The set text box to the default version is mission from version 2024.
   There are so many stupid toolbar and impractical menu in this version.
   Toggle edit and switching toolbar alway keep the program crashing.

4. Change back interface

   My idea is that "rearraigning" everything doesn't make things better. People who use tools like to have the function remain the same. This new interface is terrible. Changing the way things look all the time should be left to social media pages. Adobe is for work. My workflow is not improved with this change, it's worse.

5. character display bug (replaced - wrong)

   When I save and close my pdf File on Adobe Acrobat Pro, everything is fine, but when I open it again, Every character is bugged and replaced by another one. Why is that ? Could you fix these display issues ?

6. Crop tool

   Can Adobe PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY - add the crop tool back to the main set of tools (All tools) so I dont have to constantly remind myself where the heck it is? Why did Adobe bury the lead? The crop tool used to be front & center and now its hidden in a tab. I'm forever searching for it on the rare occassion I need to crop within Acrobat.

7. Cannot add new text over existing bounding boxes in new version

   Had to revert to the older version to be able to add new text boxes. I'm trying to add text to PDFs of documents saved during the "Print to PDF" feature. When doing so, the bounding boxes are placed in seemingly arbitrary locations, and any attempt to edit them HORRIBLY messes up the formatting. My job requires I add text near the title of the document, but the default bounding box takes up about 4/5ths of the printable area. This hasn't been an issue for me before, as using the "add text" button on the top ribbon opened the appropriate format tool and allowed me to add new text where I choose.

   After the update, however, if I try to use the new "add text" button, it auto selects the massive bounding box, turning the dotted line blue as I mouse over the area. Adding any text or adjusting anything at all within these bounding boxes destroys any cohesion to my document - all existing text becomes a garbled mess. I was able to escape this phenomena by reverting to the older version, but I fear this issue will not be fixed before I am forced to use the updated edition.

   MY SUGGESTION: Make the new "Add Text" button add a new text box wherever desired, regardless of existing bounding boxes. Disable the selection of bounding boxes when using the add text tool. To edit existing text, select the bounding box manually to enter editing mode.

12. Glitch Deleted All My work

    While editing a document, it glitched, shut down, and deleted about 2 hours worth of work, seemingly irretrievably. For a product that I pay for, this is pretty unacceptable, and burying your feedback options behind a separate website and login only further shows how little you care about consumer experience.

    My idea: if you want customers to feel like you actually care about their experience on your substandard product, don't force them to a separate webpage and make them log in again just to tell you when you mess up. Nothing more clearly shows that a company that can't care less about the users they exploit than making feedback difficult and cumbersome.

    I am unable to edit the pdf file in adobe acrobat. It presents the error code 6 of

    "Unable to process the page because the Paper Capture recognition service experienced an error. (6)."

14. STOP F%^&ing up my text.

    The hundreds of hours that Acrobat costs me when trying to edit simple PDF forms is ludicrous in 2025. Absolutely LUDICROUS.

    Touch one element of text, it it tries to pull it in with other text, completely #$%^ing up all of the formatting. Move fields around, and it does the same thing.

    Yet, where is their time focussed in Acrobat? AI ****.

    Adobe Acrobat is the single WORST app in the Adobe product and services portfolio. Every single day I have to work in it, I end up spending the day yelling at my machine, and many days not accomplishing much beyond, because every time I fix something, Acrobat seems insistent on breaking it.

    JUST STOP F$%^ing with my text. PERIOD.

    Sorry for the language, but this program's developers NEED to hear it, because over the course of 20 years, it has gotten worse every single interation when it comes to screwing with what those using it are trying to do. Microsoft Word sucks, but it is eons better than Acrobat. But, unfortunately, we have to use it for certain functionality to work. We have been BEGGING for you to fix these issues for over a decade and there seems to be ZERO desire to even try to make it better. What else are we supposed to do? 8 hours wasted today on something that could have been accomplished in a single hour, if it respected what we were doing. How many other programs would get away with completely changing what a person puts in in a way that makes them jump through hoops to fix it, only to have it change it again?

    Either give this to another developer, or fix it. Because Acrobat Status Quo is unacceptable going forward.

16. time format

    I would like the addition of two new date formats, "dd mmm yy" and "dd mmmm yyyy", which are the officially sanctioned formats for use in Air Force memorandums. Currently, our team must manually update the date format on each individual document, which can be time-consuming. Furthermore, we are unable to set these formats as defaults, resulting in inefficiencies in our document creation process.

20. make it EASIER to RESIZE pages and SAVE

    RESIZING A PAGE or pages in a pdf and SAVING the pdf should be EASY. However, it is currently very complicated and requires going into Preflight (not easy for a lay person) and clicking thru non-self evident icons and menus in order to change the page size (found after much googling!). There is a way to change page size when printing but sometimes I need to resize pages and save the pdf to either be shared with someone or to be printed at a later date, not right then and there. PLEASE MAKE THIS EASIER SO THAT LAY USERS CAN EASILY DO IT.
