  1. Get the AI the **** out of my way. It's uber distracting, slows the program for no reason, and I KNOW HOW TO READ. Get ********** lost!

  2. Get the AI assistant out of the way. I don't want it and need the option to disable it. Very irritating.

  4. Hi. Can the pelicans that manage the programming department at Adobe, please let the programmers stop concentrating on useless rubbish like the 'AI assistant' (I don't need assistance reading PDFs in your mediocre program and I definitely don't need help from 'AI') and instead do some work on things like making the 'convert to XLS' feature actually work, rather than crashing the program every time I try to use it.

  5. Hey, try listening to all of the users of your services and remove AI. Admit it: you got played by some billionaire into buying AI and you can't square yourselves to acknowledge it's a bad investment. Fire the dummy who pushed it, take the loss and move on. No one wants AI. Remove it.

  6. These constant prompts to use AI have totally ruined Adobe Acrobat for me. They're disruptive. Also, my workplace uses Acrobat for sensitive work documents - we are required to maintain confidentiality - I can't risk potentially having AI trained on my documents. I'm saying goodbye to Adobe Acrobat permanently, and using Xodo moving forward instead. Xodo is not shoving AI at me daily. I'll be encouraging my whole office to switch too. See ya!

  7. Disabling the AI assistant is actually what you should do. Even though I've disabled the AI assistant in the settings, I continue to receive pop-ups asking me to summarize the documents I'm trying to read. In addition to blocking the content I'm trying to read, these pop-ups make the basic program less usable, such as when it comes to scrolling, Chill Guy Clicker. Additionally, when the assistant is disabled, the small chat bar at the bottom shouldn't be there. For heaven's sake, please make this right. AI is not necessary for everything. I'll use Chat GPT if I need…

  8. Get rid of the AI. It is disruptive, covers half the screen, and is difficult to get rid of. I keep turning it off under preferences and it keeps getting turned back on by the time I open the next document! (I recheck my preferences and it has been turned back on.) GET RID OF IT!!!!!!! Or allow it to be permanently disabled.

  9. Please pay attention to those of who are asking to have the AI feature stop intruding into our work. Actions (in this case inaction) speak louder than words, and you are telling me very clearly to stop using adobe, because you insist on imposing "AI" on me at every step. Given the demonstrated problems with hallucinations in AI, your are offering is a threat, not a bonus.

  11. AI Insanity!

Provide a verifiable way to completely remove AI Assistant in Adobe Reader. I do not want an AI anything capturing any financial or other privacy related documents and processing them in the cloud, especially in Beta form. Most users will not read to the point of understanding the cloud aspect of this. This is a ridiculous and even dangerous function to offer, promote and even present to the general user.

  13. Remove AI. Also, actually look at your feature requests and bug reports. There are odd submissions for dating sites, fps hacks, and a bunch of other suspicious activity that does not belong here. Also, please remove AI. If you want me to use AI, I will and will stop using adobe. I bet ChatGPT can make me a better PDF than whatever garbage acrobat is doing.

  14. This is not an idea, I just wanted to provide feedback that generative AI tools are an instant turn-off. I would vastly prefer a program that helps fight against the use of generative AI by protecting my documents from AI programs. I would pay more money to use a program that does not feature any kind of AI assistance, AI suggestions, AI integration of any kind.

We used to live in a world where corporations understood that when a user has a positive experience with a product or service, they will only tell one or two people, but if they…

  15. Just downloaded the latest trial version of reader. AI assistant respond to simple questions. It says working on it for past 5 minutes! Too complicated and too many popups for a reader. I uninstalled it and found a better alternative PDF reader for free. Stop making this program more complicated than what users need to read a simple document.

  16. Get that damned AI Assistant button OFF the top of my screen! It keeps popping up right over top of the scroll bar, making it impossible to quickly advance through the first page of a document -- right when all the introductory material I want to skim past is there. Why can't this thing be removed or disabled? The last thing I need is a summary made by a bot with the intelligence of your average high-schooler. This is the most annoying software add-on since "Clippy".

  17. I am annoyed and distracted by the constant prompts to use Adobe's Generative AI feature. I do not want this feature. I have disabled the feature. But I still see a brightly colored button advertising it every time I open Adobe. What is worse, when I try to do a simple search, I get another prompt encouraging me to use Generative AI. I already pay $20/month for Acrobat. I should not have view ads on software I am paying for. But Adobe repeatedly forces me to view what is essentially an ad for an feature I do not want. It's…

  19. Remove AI

That stupid button taking up so much screen real estate for a feature I will never use. I hope someone feels some shame for promoting this trash, which, worse than being useless, is intended to make human cognition itself dependent on silicon valley products. If people want this so badly, why not let them select it from a suite of services for a premium instead of forcing it on every single user of your product? Worse than useless, zero functionality, aesthetically unappealing, takes up valuable space on my screen. Try making worthwhile products again instead of coming up…

  20. When using PDF Spaces and AI Assistant, the AI Assistant doesn't always recognise files that have been added later in the process. So, for example, if you are completing a research paper and some new evidence has come to light, you add that new evidence, and use AI Assistant to search all papers, there have been times where it will not reference that new paper. This risks leading to gaps in research for people who may be working with files closer to the 100 file limit.
