  2. Send and Track never works.

    send and track never works. It continues to say for me to log in and there is no internet connection. I am using ethernet, not wifi.

  3. Convert Colors progress bar shows incorrect page number

    When converting colors on a multi-page PDF file, after clicking OK, the progress bar that appears starts with showing "Converting Page 0" when it should be "Converting Page 1". Probably just using the pages array index (being zero based).

  4. Automation of watermark placement

    Would like to set up drop-app that would automatically place pre-configured (pdf) watermarks, one for the first page, another on the rest.

    Hi we are not able to reproduce the problem in house.
    Can you elaborate little more here and also please provide the version of Acrobat you are using.

  7. designer's pdf inspector

    It would be great to have a pdf inspection mode to easily select items in the pdf and get printing specs on it like the ink type (pms, cmyk) and color used (pms 281, C100M60Y0K6), the font, the resolution of an image as dpi at the current used size, etc.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your valuable feedback. We have recorded it in our database.

    However,Before printing you can check default value through:
    Go to ‘PrintProduction>outputPreview’
    Select ObjectInspector from preview drop down and you can check default value.
    Hope this will serve you purpose.

  8. Adobe Send & Track Add-in for Outlook stops email signature coming through when sending PDFs

    Installation of Adobe Add-in for Send & Track should not be automatic. It blocks the email signature of the user in Outlook 2013 from appearing when he/she wants to send a PDF by email directly from Adobe or other program which uses the Outlook API

  10. javascript window expired

    I can't open PDFs, I tried everything from disabling javascript, turning protected mode off, to formatting my laptop. It always pops out with a javascript window expired. I've attached a photo below. If I disable javascript I am able to open the file but there is no content, if it is enabled then once I open the file it the pop up appears and when I click ok it closes the file.

    I suppose you are facing this with a particular set of PDF’s. Can you please provide one such PDF. Also please provide the version of Acrobat you are using.

  11. No Adobe scan for windows. I use a tablet and wondering why I cannot use my PC/Computer/Tablet for scanning with its camera

    Thanks for reporting your concern.
    As of now, Adobe scan app is not implemented for Windows. We will update you if its done in near future.

  12. Logical presentation of figures

    Hello

    When generating separate PDF files from a PDF with multiple pages (in my case a 240-page catalog), a number (or folio) is assigned to each page as .... x for units, ..XX for tens, .*** for hundreds, etc.
    Which gives: 1, 10, 100, etc.

    Is it possible for Acrobat to name pages rather like this: 000X, 00XX, 0XXX?
    Which would give: 0001, 0010, 0100, etc.

    List files for a Windows user do not appear in logical order and the user is forced to rename the PDFs by adding zeros in front of the units and tens (a time-consuming job).

  13. Conversion of RGB/Spot to CMYK

    PDF does not finish converting Spot / RGB colors to CMYK/
    This is when using preflight fixes or convert color under Print Production Tools.
    Acrobat freezes most of the time, or when I try to Save as.

  14. Crash Crash Crash it is like watching a NASCAR Martinsville Race.

    I do not know what your programmers did to the Adobe products in the 2018 version but all Acrobat and Illustrator keep doing is crashing my computer. I reinstalled 2017 Illustrator but there is not a rollback for Acrobat. Please tell your programmers that "Just because you can does not mean you should"

    I am sorry for the inconvenience you are facing, next time you see Acrobat crash, can you please save the crash logs and attach them here, it will help us to narrow down the issue.

    I want to be able to highlight something such as a persons name and then 'right click' on it and have a 'drop down' link to Google search the name or other selected phrases.

  18. Send & Track Personalized Email Message

    Allow users to edit and save a new default email Subject and body Message when using Send & Track. This is useful for those companies that send PDF files on a regular basis with a particular form letter attached to the file. Currently, we have to cut and paste our message into the default form each time. It would be nice to eliminate this step.

  20. Vector Rasterise

    Rasterise all vectors option in the export PDF dialogue window.

    I use lots of detailed vector files in my layouts and when producing PDF's for approval this can be an issue as the files sizes can be too big to send back and forth over email. There are numerous work arounds but none really give a seamless document flow that should happen. Making a JPEG of my files and placing those instead of eps or ai files can be a headache also.
