Acrobat reader is leaving temp font (F@XXXXX) behind which is leading to weird characters in our oracle application
When users are printing with acrobat reader then the Arial font is getting substituted by a Z@XXXXX tmp font which is located in C:\Users\xxxxxxxxx\AppData\Local\Temp\acrord32_sbx.
Our oracle JDE application is referring to a font family with Arial as leading one and this will finally give weird characters in our JDE screens.
We would like development team of Adobe to verify why those temp fonts are left behind because they are locked and we can not delete them. Only a restart of the pc will disconnect the temp font and then we will be able to delete them.

Print Thin Lines
There is a button in Adobe Acrobat Pro that allows toggling thin line weights as shown on the screen on and off but there is now way to get the document to print with thin lines. This is true of both PDF and physical printers. This can make working with and sharing readable engineered drawings difficult. Please follow up on this regardless of vote count! If you need to gauge interest in this request you should search "how to print thin lines in Adobe Acrobat" and easily see that this improvement would be widely appreciated. Adobe has obviously realized the…

Printing environmentally friendly
Factsheets, whitepapers, etc. often have a lot of brand colours in them. In the case of the company I work for, we have a dark blue front and end page which results in the use of a lot of ink when printing which is environmentally unfriendly.
Wouldn't it be a great idea to be able to overrule this branding for printing?
I guess this can be done using AI searching pdfs for dark backgrounds and white letters. and making the letters dark and backgrounds white so you can print environmental friendly.
The best option would be to enforce this as…

Remove the Acrobat print dialog
Please make it possible to deselect the Acrobat print dialog and instead use the native print settings only.
It would save a ton of misprints and wasted paper.
All other apps can make it work, so I believe you can too.2 votes -
Please make it possible to print all text/comments within scrolling text boxes within fillable PDFs.
Many have asked for this for years & I saw at least one other suggestion of this declined for some reason...please make it so that all text/comments entered within scrolling text boxes in a fillable PDF can be printed out......or maybe make it clear somewhere in your help information that this just can't be done for some reason.

Bug - Fonts are not being embeded
BUG - While using Adobe Acrobat 2017 as a PDF printer, the fonts that are required to display symbols correctly are not being embedded regardless of settings
Rat Dish1.pdf illustrates the error. It was created by printing to a pdf, an .idw file. Rat dish.invpdf.pdf which was generated through the Inventor app is correct.1 vote -

Can't print a PDF file anymore
I have Adobe Acrobat DC 21.005.20048 build installed under W10 Pro (up to date) PC.
I can't print any PDF file anymore.
Instead, the system offers me to save the file, every single time I hit the Print button, on any file.
Apart of that, under Properties button on Print dialog box, an unnecessary complicated menu appears where I can't save printing profiles anymore.
Who the **** modified what herein?

PDF opened with Internet Explorer DLL will not print
When opening a PDF in Internet Explorer with the Reader DLL plugin we can no longer open the print dialogue.
The error has started after the latest windows update to 2004 or 20H2. These are just the ones I have heard of from our users.I have tried to get help in https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/pdf-opened-in-explorer-will-not-print/m-p/11265762

Printing from Adobe has all of a sudden developed a problem.
After a recent Adobe upgrade I have had printing problems. The document dimensions are correct in Adobe, but the printer sees them as physically larger by up to an inch. I have to tell the printer what paper tray to use, and the print ends up being chopped on the top and right (for a landscape print). There has not been a change to the printer driver in months. There may have been Windows10 updates at about the same time.

"Print current view" in multipage document
That's it. There is absolutely no reason why this option should not exist in a multipage document. As it stands you have to extract the page before you can print the current view. Another ridiculous time wasting "feature" from Adobe.

Program crashes when I try to print.
Everytime I try and print a pdf on adobe it crashes. I've redownloaded like 5 times. cleaned it off device with revo uninstaller. continues to crash when I print. Also this dialogue box pops up whenever i open adobe when two blank buttons on it. Tried to upload screenshots but the layout has errors all over it. I don't have this problem with any other program. i'm on a relatively new $3600 laptop. I use adobe all day so this is very irritating.

Document Properties
I would like the ability to view Page Size for all documents at one time. Currently, I look at each page's document properties to verify the page is 24". If I don't do this, there is a risk that one page might be a different size than all others, and the print will not be to scale.

Printing preferences reset to Letter after Acrobat updates
The default printing preferences are Letter even though my Windows regional settings are not US. Should be A4.
I change the default from Windows Settings>Devices>Printers & scanners>Adobe PDF>Manage>Printing preferences>Adobe PDF Page Size but it resets every time Acrobat updates!
Please fix both these issues.

Printing ANSI D or B to two ANSI A prints in one shot
Since so many folks work at home with the usual 8 1/2x11 format printers, it's hard to print PDFs that are in 17x11 & 34x22 format. This includes the engineering, survey, Departments of Transportation drawings, maybe architects, and many others, like schedules and Gantt charts. We work with SCALE drawings and we'd sometimes like to print our usual landscape prints from the at-scale drawing format in 34x22 or 17x11 onto TWO 11x 8 1/2 prints, effectively splitting the drawing in two, down the middle. If we could get full-bleed, edge to edge, so much the better. This allows us to…

A count of black only pages and a count of pages that contain color within a PDF
I would like to get a count of black only pages and a count of pages that contain color within a PDF. This is helpful as a print shop so we can charge appropriately for jobs that have mixed documents.

"Save as PDF" Bug
Hello,
Just wanted to report this bug. So when I combine a bunch of pdf files I save the combined file using the "print as PDF" function (because some of the files are fillable and I want it "flattened") almost 90% of the times it won't save the file in the first attempts and it will happen in the 2nd or 3rd attempt. 5% of the time the output file only has one page(the first page out of 10-20 pages) so I have to try it again.
I am using Adobe Acrobat 2021.001.20145 on windows 102 votes
