  4. Color Code Comments

I review documents with comments from several coworkers. I'd like the option of having each commenter assigned a color. Then I would be able to scan the comments for a particular color to address that person's comments.

Right now, I can filter comments by person, but that removes everyone else's marks/comments from the page. I can sort the comments by date, so I just look at the newest ones, but that doesn't include replies to comments. And it makes it hard to get to the other comments on the same page.

Please add the option of each commenter choosing a…

  5. Support interactive functions when reviewing/commenting

At the moment from InDesign, when exporting interactive documents, we have Publish Online or Interactive PDFs. Neither of which support reviewing/commenting very well.

When trying to use the commenting tools in Acrobat you cannot select text for replacement in any rollover state textboxes. Uploading interactive documents to the document cloud only supports static pages, InDesign's own review document functionality doesn't support interactivity and Publish Online doesn't support any means of providing feedback - although it does support interactivity.

Come on Adobe! The web has been alive to interactivity since day 0. You are supposed to be the defacto authority on…

  8. Highlights are bigger than the Font

In some adobe pdf files, the highlight appears much bigger than the highlighted text. It could be due to the specific design of the font. This, however, makes reading and highlighting this specific document annoying. Could you please address this issue and allow the users to change the "highlight color width" regardless of the font/fontsize?

  9. Comment Panel Floating

The Comment Panel was much better in Adobe Acrobat 9, that is the whole reason I didn't want to go to DC, but now I don't have a choice because of security. I think you should be able to move the panel to the bottom like in Adobe Acrobat 9. Also this version, as soon as you click on it, it takes up 2" for one comment, that's just crazy. Also, the filter function doesn't hold, I have in the past in Acrobat 9, selected to show None so only my comments that haven't finished show up. But in this…

  10. Adobe Annotation - Comments Highlighter

    Hi Team,

    Greetings !

This request is with respect to E-000596525 (PDF Annotation - Comments Highlighter).

We have a request from the client to provide hightlighter for the comments provided by the user against the document content. We have raised a technical support call and got clarified that the functionality is currently unavailable.

It would be highly appreciable if you could provide us with the new feature.

  13. opacity

Please implement a feature where the text / callout box fill and text opacity can be adjusted independently. There are several instances where I want a translucent box and fully opaque text, but I can't perform this independent action.

  14. comment layer

Please implement a feature where I can adjust which markups appear on top of overlapping markups. In other words, the default is the newest markups are on top but I want to have an option to send a new markup backward so an old markup will be on top. I currently have to cut the old markup and paste in order to make this happen, but this should be something we can choose from a right-click menu.

  15. highlight

We need to be able to convert lines and polygon markup tools into a true highlighter rather than a makeshift highlighter. Currently, I have to adjust the opacity and while this serves its purpose, I lose print quality because of it. I use Acrobat daily to markup drawings for Construction and this would be such a big help. I would also be able to highlight Autocad text (which Adobe does not currently do).

    Please implement this! Thanks!

  16. simplify stamp tool. one click only for default stamp selected by user.

a lot of us use the stamp tool frequently, it is very cumbersome, needs to do many clicks to stamp for each page.
let the user choose a default stamp to use repeatedly with one click only. other PDF software can do it. such as PDF-X change editor. I am sure The King- -acrobat DC pro should able to do it.

It would be very useful for students to be able to create flashcards from a PDF. There is this option in the Kindle App for books, and it is quite useful.

  18. shift+U not working

According to the Adobe Acrobat DC keyboard Shortcut page.

    https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/keyboard-shortcuts.html#sa_src=web-messaging

The shortcut Shift +U should "Cycle through highlighting tools: Highlighter, Underline Text, Cross Out Text" It does not work, I am stuck in the Cross Out Text tool.

  19. Sticky Note code not congruent

I have moved my files around from Adobe Pro, Reader, online access etc.

There is a coding issue where the sticky notes do not integrate correctly.
Not sure where the bug is but as illustrated in the snip below, my file saved to the cloud has 2 different types of notes.
When one hovers over the upper the text of the note is not automatically enlarged.

  20. Improve Colour Picker in Comments Section

Why oh why? Why Acrobat are you relying on Apple Colour Picker?

Adobe makes some of the advanced Graphics editing software in the world.

Please improve the colour picker for Acrobat. Just add the Photoshop or Indesign or Illustrator or..... Aftereffects...... or maybe even premiere colour picker to acrobat.

Right now on a mac I get forced to open the apple rectangle properties box, that then forces me to open an apple colour picker dialog box.

And I can't just hit enter to close it I actually have to go click on the tiny little Apple picker X to close…
